Sadly my time in Xian was far too short. Although next time I return I would happily stay at the Grand Noble Hotel. The hotel itself is in a fabulous location. The rooms are clean, spacious, tidy and the bathrooms have a bath and separate shower. Wifi is available for free throughout the hotel (there is no password). Breakfast is... More

Just a short walk from the two towers and the night market (and shopping centers, restaurants etc.), the hotel enjoys an excellent location. We walked every evening to the bustling center with the towers and the night market, watching and enjoying the sight of the city and the people (and modern shopping opportunities). The hotel was standard, very busy and... More

Really enjoyed the included breakfast buffet. Huge! We left so early our last morning that we had to miss the breakfast buffet, but the hotel staff packed a brown bag breakfast so we nonetheless had something to eat at the airport, later. A really nice touch. We also enjoyed a historic restaurant just a couple of doors from the hotel.... More

The Grand Nobel has comfortable rooms, decent (not great) food and a nice bar. The morning buffet has a mix of Asian and western offerings. The location is within the city wall, about a 10 minute walk to the famous Bell Tower at one of the central roundabouts. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance, along with... We stayed here for three days to explore Xi'an and visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. While it is beginning to show its age, we found the beds comfortable and our room nice and clean. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Bell Tower (and the metro). The reception staff were quite helpful and the room service cheerful.... More

We were at first given a room which was not open plan with the bathroom. We asked to change room which they did so with no problems. The open plan room is much better with much more light and space. The hotel is in an accessible location not far from south street. However if you don't like to walk taxis... More

The first hotel in my China tour with Virgin Holidays that actually has seating in reception. Walking into the building you have a beautiful glass chandelier and café, bar and shop all to hand and with very helpful staff. Restaurant is a little expensive if you buy main meals that have Western feel but the snacks (which are big enough... More

This hotel missed on many levels including updating its customers that have booked executive lounge privileges. The executive lounge is CLOSED on the 11th floor!!! Non-smoking means nothing as well as smoke odor is present. Nothing provided for executive booking besides fruit being brought to your room everyday. It is way outdated with old 1960-1970 furniture. House keeping was friendly... More
