As a family of 5, we booked two rooms for our two night stay in Xian. The reception staff were very helpful, and while only one person at the desk spoke enough English to assist us with our check in, everyone at the reception desk spoke enough English to say "Hello" and to advise you to wait for the Englsh...

The only good point of this hotel is the location, right at the Bell Tower. You enter in a attractive lobby, but when you open your door for your room you'll be disappointed. During our stay the temperature was 80° with no air-conditioning available for the first few days. Therefore, needed to have the windows open and the street noise...

This is a Chinese hotel geared for Chinese guests only. To accommodate tourists, they have rented out 2 rooms on the second floor for two independent tour operators. The room on the left held the only English speaking person in the whole hotel. Her shift begins in the evening and she was amazing, she even translated the menu for us...

Location is really good but the rooms, facilities are really old and run down. so do not expect too much as it will only disappoint you. AC wasn't really working in the rooms and had to open the windows for cool air.

We wanted a hotel that was central in Xian and this one is it. As we climbed out of the Taxi the concierge looked our way then turned away showing now desire to help with the bags. We found this quite common in China even in some of the more expensive hotels we stayed in. We managed to check in...

This location was good, but that was all... We were disappointed in how run down the room was, how the air conditioner actually put out heat and although the room was "non-smoking" there were people smoking in the halls, which was coming in our rooms. We spoke with the manager and he charged us $15 (U.S.) to get out of...

You can't get any more central in Hotel than the Bell Tower Hotel, overlooking the fabulous(especially at night), Bell Tower and close o the Drum Tower and Muslim markets. Hotel is probably past its best, but still very acceptable. Rooms are of a good size, we had superior on 6th floor, which has spectacular views of Tower. Breakfast not exceptional,...

This hotel is located in the heart of Xian CBD. Walk to Muslim street and other shopping centers, shops, eateries. If you looking for a dinning place, a very nice traditional Xian restaurant is located right at back entrance of this hotel. Maybe because it is too centrally located, not easy to park, very difficult to get a taxi, even...

Pros - opposite the Bell Tower (I had a great view) & the Metro. 5 mins walk from the Drum Tower & the most amazing night food market (Muslim Market) I've visited. So location is excellent. Cons - very noisy (on big roundabout), my non-smoking room smelt very smoky & was always hot. Bathroom was quite old and mouldy. Also...

This hotel is located at the very center of Xian. Busses and Metro have stops very near by. While there is a lot of traffic, it was not too loud to be able to sleep, I took a taxi from the train station which was not very expensive compared to American taxi rates.
