Jinmao hotel started to operate since 2019 and it has all advantages of a new hotel. It’s location is quite close to the Muslim community and night food street. Its design is modern style with some innovative elements. Access to the gym is attractive to sports lovers. It has a rooftop, where you have a bird view of the drum tower and can rest in Sofa with a beer. All staffs there are helpful and the price is quite reasonable in view of the service quality received.

Amazing hotel. Such a convenient location. Can walk right to all the central tourist attractions in minutes!
The service was amazing. We requested more water bottles and they came up into our hotel room while we were gone and left us such a sweet note. In short - the room service said “we noticed you have a small child so we left more bottles of water. It is really dry so make sure they drink a lot”.
This was so touching and unnecessary. It really made our stay special and personalised. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

Nice hotel, clean and great design. Staff were very kind and helpful. Helping us to book excursions and transfer to airport. We had a great experience their, the location of the hotel is perfect to visit the city center. Really close to bell tower.

Really modern, very clean and super close to bell, and drum tower. Also close to The Muslim Street and the great mosque.
Is a great hotel and the price is very inexpensive for the area. The woman downstairs also helped book a show about the Silk Road which was a must see. Most staff spoke some English.

This was a great find as the hotel is very new, just established earlier this year in July. It was harder to find by the driver but once you are there, you realise the malls, Muslim quarter and south entrance of the city gate are just a short walk.
Breakfast spread was good and the tea joint by the reception serves good local or milk tea too.
There’s also a bar beside which is ok.
Love that they provide thick robes especially in winter season, this comes in handy!
Would probably need more space in the lobby for high season guests because when it’s Low season, it’s already harder to get seats.

Good points: Nice hotel located just south of the Muslim Quarter and the street connecting the Drum and Bell towers. There’s a subway under the road leading to the Drum Tower. Good breakfast with the usual horrid bacon and sausages available if you want western food.
Bad points: the floor matting outside the bathroom was dirty and stained. The bathroom is totally open plan with just a curtain. The WiFi can’t be used accessed unless you have a Chinese mobile number, so is basically unusable for international travellers. No bar.

This hotel was the best in my entire travel through China. The bed is super comfortable, the rooms smell nice. The entire hotel gives off a Downtown Brooklyn vibe.
Pros++ The staff is super friendly. They try to accommodate you which in China is very hard to come by. The coffee is actually good, so is the breakfast. At the time I stayed there I got a 20% discount at their bar next door. The hotel is located in the middle of everything. Safe and easy to venture out at night. You get a nice souvenir after check out.
Cons- - 1hr or so from the airport. There’s NO FRIDGE in the rooms which is awkward. No safes, to keep your valuables in. If you leave anything behind after checking out; too bad because they won’t inform you, won’t understand and not care.

Stayed for 4 nights, booked 2 rooms. Location fantastic, walkng distance to underground & drum & bell tower & muslim quarters. Its off the main road, relatively quiet. The restaurant, zhuichangan few door away fr hotel (its not on google map) serves v good food. Chicken & duck was fantastic. Haidelao hot pot is also few door away. Google map has this hotel tag as citadine which is wrong. Coin operated washer & dryer is available, opens until 10pm everynight
