Free Wifi in the hotel. There is no problem as hotel in China normally have wifi access. Sim card can easily bought in China, better get it in airport and it can be available in the area surround the hotel. But be careful you need to register, however they always use their name to register for you if they know you are tourist. BTW, we do not use sim card as it is messy for registration. We use hotel wifi at night after return for our day trip.
