Free wifi in the room. The aircond was not cool. No halal breakfast so we only ate fruits, boiled eggs, boiled sweet potatoes, starchy corn so what to do, tapau... All tv channels are Chinese except for TV5 Singapore .

Hardly any staff spoke English. Had a tough time communicating with hotel staff. Buffet breakfast was awful. TV only Chinese channels. No swimming pool. Staff looked indifferent to customer's needs. Only plus point was room was quite big with a lounge chair. Wi-fi speed very SLOW.

The hotel is rather unclean. Beds are comfortable but sleep is difficult as the air conditioner does not work and if one keeps the windows open, then the traffic noise is terrible. The breakfast is average but everything about this hotel is shabby. Have travelled to so many places and stayed in umpteen hotels but this is the first hotel...

nothing was wrong, but the room is just ok. Everything is quite dated, though clean, except old bath and corner near it. Unfortunately non-smoking rooms are twins only... Location is very convenient - closest old city gate is 3 mins walk, West gates are about 15 minutes walk.

Stayed 1 night at the hotel on a group tour. The carpets were dirty specially by the ash trays in the common areas/ corridors. The wall close to them were more dirty than the rest of the wall. One of my travel partners saw a Chinese person spitting into the ash tray which has coloured stones and water! This may...

We had booked the hotel on HRS.com about one month in advance, but on arrival hotel staff at first did not recognize the confirmed rate and insisted on us paying their 50 percent higher standard rate, even though we showed them our printed booking confirmation with the confirmed rate clearly shown. It took about an hour of argueing and several...

I was afraid to take a shower, the mat they had rolled up in the tub was almost black. The nicotine film was so thick you could see it around the tv screen. I was told it was a no smoking room, not so I could tell. The carpet was dirty, the walls were dirty, well really what wasn't? We...

This hotel is run by the Chinese gov't, so it has a few "problems." The main one being cleanliness, or lack of cleanliness. It is very sub-standard and definitely NOT a 4-star. The rooms were disgustingly dirty and smelled badly of stale cigarettes. They did not provide bottled drinking water like all of the other 4 and 5 star hotels...

A comfort hotel on the outskirts of Xi'an. Friendly staff and some even spoke English. We had a room for 2 adults and two additional beds for the children and they didn't charge extra. Rooms where old but clean and everything worked. Room view was not so good but Xi'an has enough to offer to make it up. The breakfast...
