Hostel was super cosy, the bar area is great good atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. We visited post covid so it was relatively quiet, but I can imagine in peak times the cafe bar area would be very lively. We noticed some taxi drivers in the city were very apprehensive to us westerners (foreigners) and we’re wondering what the hostel staff would be like. But they were all super friendly and couldn’t have done more to help us with our stay. They had great recommendations and also helped us set up for mahjong! Location is great, within the city walls, but it’s still a big city so taxi or metro is the best way to get around,

Positive Staff is helpful and always smiley. They speak English very well and are always available to help with any request! There is a cute cat living in the hostel :) Negative The first night we got the double room we booked but we found it small and not really comfortable. The matress was hard the only window was small so there wasn't enough light. Moreover the room smelled of cigarettes... So the day after we asked to change and they kindly let us move to a twin room, which was bigger and more comfortable. They should maybe do some renovations. WiFi didn't work very well.

I'm here the secound time and they are realy helpfull with all what you need and there are very friendly. From the Hostel they also have daily Events check the picture. The Hostel is very close to the Bell and Drum tower this means also close to the moslem market in there is the Big Mosik Temple just in the street they sell randomm stuff not food... you see the entry directly in the beginning to the left when you come from the tower.

We stayed for 3 nights and honestly didn’t want to leave! The atmosphere is amazing and the tour offers are great (take the Terracotta Warrior tour with Rocky!) We stayed in a private room which was worth spending the extra pennies on - our friends in the dorm had a slightly different experience to us with loud snorers etc whereas we had a 10/10 stay! The receptionists are so friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one.

I first stayed in Xi'an at a fancy Hyatt in 2009, and I actually preferred this experience! I only booked this place for one night as a stop on my way to Beijing and regret not staying longer. This is an extremely charming hostel with a great staff and an atmosphere that celebrates the ancient history of the city. What excited me even more was how cheap the price was for a single bedroom - significantly less than a dorm room at the hostels in Beijing! The room isn't anything fancy, but it has everything a traveler needs. I will be coming back here on my next trip to Xi'an. Bixin!
