We stayed here for a few nights while on our 3 week tour of China. The hotel itself is massive with chandeliers, marble and very elegantly decorated. The restaurant where the breakfast buffet is served is also massive with food on one side for Chinese...More
The facilities look palatial when you arrive.

Currently staying at this property - tried three gaudy rooms and every one of them stinks like cigarette smoke. Would not recommemd to anyone but a chain smoker. Staff tried to find a non stinking room in a non-smoking floor but could not find one.

We stayed there in March 2014, and had 2 non-smoking rooms. In one room, a prior guest had smoked, but the housekeeping staff were able to eliminate the smoky odor very quickly, so they clearly know what do to to keep their non-smoking rooms smelling non-smoky. Perhaps contacting the hotel's reservation desk directly might help.
