My 12 year old daughter and I had the most wonderful stay Aroma Tea House. From the moment we arrived until check out, we were treated like family. Upon our late night arrival, Michelle had greeted us with a warm smile and an exhaustive willingness to assist us in any way. Check in was speedy and she knew exactly who... More

Everything about this GORGEOUS hotel is so good, no sorry, better than good. They arranged for a car from the train, and welcomed us with open arms. The staff nearly all speak good English and advised that one person who spoke the language would be on duty at all times if we needed anything. A real tea session soon after.... More

Our room is comfortable and very clean. The view from the breakfast area on the fifth floor is so lovely, we lingered over our food just to enjoy the lake view. The front desk staff is helpful and efficient in arranging transport and activities. Overall we have had a wonderful stay.

Is our favourite hotel in China after 20 days in this country. The staff working there is so nice and speaks English! This is like different world comparing to other places in China. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The view from the restaurant is so beautiful and relaxing... Breakfast is ok - they try to do their best to... More

We loved this hotel. It's in a central location, the room was spacious, very clean and recently renovated, and the staff members were lovely. They spoke good English and helped us with booking tours and finding restaurants. It was also quiet at night.

A great hotel with dedicated, helpful staff. My room was immaculate, and the restaurant view was like a picture book. I would love to go back and see more of the city, and will surely stay here when I do.

A exemplary boutique hotel with all the comforts and amenities and run by a very friendly and capable staff that speaks good English. The only disadvantage is the fact the restaurant is only open for breakfast- but since it's on the top floor, you get a awesome view of Ronghu lake below with a moon bridge and the park surrounding... If the landscaping at the front of the hotel isn’t enough to delight you, the park that surrounds Ronghu Lake across the street will be! The pottery, wooden and art artifacts scattered all over the hotel will allow you to become immersed in Chinese culture. Arriving hungry? Staff will either suggest a meal in their wonderful restaurant (Easter and Western... More

On arrival we we greeted by the friendly, pleasant, English speaking team on reception, who invited us to our own private tea ceremony. From then on we were treated like VIPs. Our spacious, tastefully decorated room overlooked the beautiful lake. The King sized bed was really comfortable, the air conditioning and wi fi both very efficient . All the staff... More

We stayed here two nights. The hotel was booked by China Culture Tour and we were very happy. It is unique in that it has a lot of old artifacts around the hotel. The staff was very nice and the location can't be beat. The bed is a VERY firm but we learned that that is quite common in China... More
