Stayed in HJ Grand for one night. It's one of those free hotels provided by China southern for transit passengers. The hotel was really close to the airport (about 10~15 mins drive) and provided free airport shuttle bus service. It's a massive building and had hundreds of rooms. The function room was huuuuuge. Apparently most guests in the hotels are...

I came to Guangzhou from Los Angeles by China Southern airlines and while awaiting for my next flight to Delhi I got a free and fully paid accommodation arranged by China Southern airlines so I am thankful to them. It is a 15-18minutes drive from the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. Inside of the room looks really grand. Wifi is also good....

I stayed at the HJ Grand for 4 nights (8th-11th Jan 2017). The hotel is close to the Baiyun airport and serves as a pit stop for airline crew. I was upgraded to a suite, which was a welcome occurrence. The rooms were spacious and pretty well appointed. The staff was not well versed in English, which could make things...

Hotel is actually 4 star but they claim it 5 star. Very near to airport but taxi driver charge 50 RMB more. in total approx. 80 RMB to reach hotel. Rooms were ok but a bit old. In the morning breakfast was also ok. Keeping in view of price & easy access to airport this hotel is recommended.

Excellent hotel for rooms especially when you are between transfer flights. I thought the Twin room suite was spacious, clean and tidy. The rooms need to be better sound proofed and more English or subtitled tv channels need to be available for guests. Other than that overall very happy with the hotel. The meals were good but there is room...

I had a one night stop over at this hotel which was paid and organised by China Southern Airlines. Whilst I was grateful to the airline for providing the accomodation and transfers, I was disappointed with the hotel. One of the biggest disappointments was that I got a stomach bug from eating the Nasi goring in the restaurant. This plagued...

This is a great place to stay. High end and almost brand new. Things to improve: 1- the rooms are not sound proof. My sleep was disturbed by a function's noise! 2- the guests must be banned from smoking. Unfortunately, this is a smoker friendly hotel! 3- the breakfast is amazing, so many choices. However, you might miss out on...

Huge hotel with huge bedroom in building E. All clean, luxious, and decent. Arrived at 07.00, by 09.00 i had taste breakfast and oké coffee. With a little walk you come to the back of the hotel, you cross the street and you can enjoy the gardens, smallp houses and friently and curious locals in a little neighboorhood. Also you...

I stayed there for a couple of hours and I have to say it was better than wait in the airport for 12 long hours. The hotel is old and it smells like that, but the room was comfortable for the time I had to spend and I slept quite well. Breakfast is quite Chinese but was nice. I can't...

A grand hotel not far from airport but far from city - this perhaps the reason why it looks so deserted. There are very few regular tourists, mostly this is used by transit passengers mainly China Southern Airlines. So am I for one night on my way from New York to Dhaka, thanks to China Southern for giving me this...
