The room is spacious. The evening buffet was not of good quality, but was bountiful. I was not pleased with it. The receptionists downstairs were not so helpful. I asked where a certain bus stop was and they told me to go around walking to find it myself. I found them cheeky and rude. Furthermore, they did not even give...

The hotel is clean, the rooms are relatifly spacious, the bathrooms are ok and clean. But no 4 or 5 star as claimed. The breakfast Chinese style. Poor tentatives to have as well western or continental influences. The food in the hotel owned restaurants is against as in some other trip advisors, not really recommandable as nothing special and extraordinary....

Like lots of others this came courtesy of China Southern due to a long and planned layover in Guangzhou. Finding the transfer bus was not easy at all. The room was clean and entirely comfortable. I thought the breakfast was excellent. At least the Chinese food. If i'm going to be in Guangzhou, I'm sure not going to eat Western...

This hotel cost me nothing thanks to China Southern Airlines and their complimentary transit hotel arrangements. First impressions were great, with a grandiose marble lobby and English speaking staff. Upstairs it was a slightly different story, with worn carpets and years worth of cigarette smell engrained in the halls. The room was comfortably and clean, albeit a little tired. For...

We were brought here when our China Southern flight was cancelled. It was 10 pm and we were tired. My first impression was that it looked kind of gloomy because of the low lighting. Check-in was smooth but the receptionist couldn't quite understand that we were asking for the wifi password in the lobby. We proceeded to the restaurant for...

14 hour layover could not have been better supported than checking in here for sleep, shower and two hours in the pool. Highly recommended and superior to airport lounges. The bus took us from the airport for free.

We were dumped here very late at night due to a China Southern Airlines flight cancellation. Checkin was efficient but humourless with very little English proficiency on display. Contrary to our worst fears the room was more than adequate : clean and large with a strong hot shower, comfortable bed and all the required bathroom supplies. The free shuttle to...

Stayed at the New Century Hotel twice in one week by complementary overnight accommodation stop provided by China Southern flights through Guangzhou. Must register at China Southern Irregular Flight Service Desk on ground(first) floor at southern exit 20 to car park(P2) in central terminal building. The rooms on both occasions were of reasonable standard, clean and functional for short overnight...

Have been to Huadu a few times but always stayed at the Crowne Plaza which was excellent. On my last visit one of my wife's family showed us the New Century Hotel which was in the city. We went inside and the reception area looked quite impressive and was told that China Southern Airways used it for delayed passengers so...

We stayed at New Century hotel for a 10 hours layover in GZ. Given its close proximity to the airport and free airport transfer, we thought it was a brilliant idea. However, it was a big mistake. We had a great time exploring the neighbourhood around the hotel. However, when we got back to our room, to our surprise, our...
