This hotel is definitely commendable for its location. There is Airport Express bus from Baiyun International Airport and will drop off diagonally opposite the hotel while boarding up location (near 7-11) to Baiyun International Airport would be 1 min walk from the hotel. The metro exit is just located beside the hotel but only stairs for entrance/exit which it is... More

It is definitely located next to a MTR exit. No matter how bad of the weather you could walk inside the hotel easily. The room price was valuable. The hotel and the room was clean and tidy even it was old. I think that is acceptable. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It was RMB28 only but including with Chinese... More

Location of the the hotel is very central just in Haizhu Square, very nice ambiance and nice staff. Rooms although have everything you need, already are a bit old and in need of a new refurbishment to refresh the look . The metro station is at the doorstep and bus terminal for intercity is just across the street.

The hotel is right next to Exit E of Line 2 on the metro, so convenient if you are coming from the major stations or the airport. The room was clean enough, though the furniture and fittings were very outdated, shabby and in need of repair. The bathroom was 60's style with brown tiles, a rusty tap, peeling paint and... More

Booked in at 2.00 am after a flight delay. Informed by lobby staff that our room had been booked out, nevertheless we were upgraded to a nice room but had to change rooms the following day. Room reeked of cigarettes but was impressed by room. We then changed to our room the following morning. A step back in time to... More

Had a 14 hr layover between flights , so wanted a place to sleep in Guangzhou during the day. Booked a room at the Guangzhou Hotel, mainly because of ease of access from airport via the metro. Metro cost 7 yuan each way ( US $1) and took about 50 mins with one easy line change. Hotel is right near... More

This hotel is just above the subway station - Haizhu. This hotel belongs to the China government hence its value for money. Ho for the better rooms as these are newly renovated rooms. Downstairs in the shopping mall there are small boutiques and across the road, there is a Hugh shopping complex that sells ladies' clothes. MacDonald and Cafe Coral... More
