Right on the edge of the lake really well situated. Nice rooms but not luxury . .you have to remember where you are and tourism in this area is still young there are only 4 hotels in the area with running water showers etc, I was told this has only evolved in the last 8 years . We enjoyed our... More

There was no water pressure in the showers the morning we were there. When a trickle did appear it was not hot. The reason given was the the rooms were all full. Facilities should be designed to meet needs when at full capacity. Buffet breakfast service was chaotic and not of good quality. Rooms are tiny and the beds are... More

We booked two rooms here and enjoyed the facilities. It is close to the lake where it all happens, but the hotel is quite nice. Food for dinner was very good, the breakfast buffet, not so great. Of our two mornings the food was picked over within a few minutes and not refilled. The rooms are well furnished. This was... More

We stayed here for two nights traveling off the Trans Siberian train. The hotel was reasonably comfortable, the room was large with twin beds, a small fridge, tea and coffee and a kettle, and a TV. Walls are quite thin so there was clear sound from the next room and hall. Bathroom was on the small size with a drop... More

The hotel is in a raised position respect the traditional village of Listyanka It had a great view of it and of the lake; it is not far from the little Orthodox Village's Church and on the side of the structure there is a small museum with a comprehensive collection of minerals from the rich and geologically active surrounding Region... Close to Lake Baikal with good views, the staff were polite and helpful. However we had to carry our bags up and down stairs to get to the room - OK for the fit & healthy but a problem for someone with a bad leg. The room and its bathroom were very small but with a balcony (public)

We stayed in this hotel in early June with a travel group. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the downtown of Listvyanka. Despite that, the hotel is located in a nice/quiet surrounding, with only a short distance from the lake shore. We had great sunset view from the lake side by just walking a little bit out from... Liked staying at Krestovaya Pad for 3 reasons: they have a wonderful banya (a fun experience, a must for those visiting Russia), breakfast & food is generally good, and the room was very comfortable & clean.

Rooms are very small even by European standards, choice of 2 twins or 2 twins you push together. Shower is so small you can't bend over to pick up shampoo that you have to sit on the floor as there aren't any shelves. Not recommended for those with disabilities or problems with lifting or stairs. As you can see by... More

I had a terrific stay here, and so did my travel companion. My room was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They even helped us arrange a private late night pickup once we arrived at the Irkutsk train station. I consider my food expectations to be normal, and I enjoyed every meal I had at their restaurant.... More
