Good location, walking distance to most of worthwhile places in Irkutsk. The rooms aren't big but clean and very basic. No AC in our rooms but with open windows at night this was not a problem even if the day temperatures went way up to round 35 degr. Celsius. OK breakfast, also very basic. Reception very (!) friendly even though they didn't speak a word English. With smartphone, google app-translation we were able to have quite far going communication with them. Laundry: very cheap! and quick! So if you're on a small budget - here's definitely a place to consider - nothing fancy but for what you pay - you get plenty. We can recommend this cheap hotel!

Despite that there is nothing reflected or affected us during our stay , the hotel is somehow looked "weird" to us as if it is running a parallel business of providing escorts for some of those who are looking for a one night stand company . That was quite clear on how the receptionist is talking and the people were seen coming out and in from the Hotel The cleanness is a huge question mark as we were given a room with a stinky smell and we kept scratching our bodies the whole single night. The price is quite high compared to other hotels and the only good thing in the hotel is the ability to provide heated water from the hotel water heater independent from the governmental supplies Not recommended to anyone indeed

Location is excelent, just a short walking distance from the center of the city, and a few minutes walk from a top of hill overlooking the whole town. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast can be ordered for just 100 Rubles per person. Staff was helpfull, the room was comforatable and clean. Value? more than the price, which is anyway low. I highy recommend the hotel for anyone who plans a visit to Irkutsk for all of the above reasons.

Not expensive considering russian value for money in hotel matters. Including registration. Cheaper doubles come with reasonably clean shared bathrooms, though not many of them. A couple of common showers in the third floor. Near the city market, the chinese market and the city mall and not far from the pedestrian area. Some of the staff speak english, but most of them don't. Still helpful.
