Rolling Stones hostel is located 50 metres away from one of the main streets of Irkutsk city - Karla Marksa st. Building was made of old-styled brick which is over then 120 years old. The hostel is oriented on ardent travelers and backpackers. In the hostel you can find a lounge area and an outdoor terrace. The hostel is full of interesting people and noisy groups of travelers - they create a unique atmosphere. Great for small groups and solo tourists. Nice bars and shop around the corner. Amazing location in a noisy location during the day and very quiet during the night. You can feel the beat of Irkutsk. This place is great for making friends, everybody from all over the world is here.

Goed en proper hostel. De eerste nacht niet geslapen vanwege het rumoer van de dronken gasten in de gemeenschappelijke kamer. De verantwoordelijke deed er niets aan en deed zelfs vrolijk mee. De andere nachten waren prima. Zij bieden allerlei activiteiten aan en hebben ook een wasplaats en goede sanitaire voorzieningen. Good and clean hostel. The first night we hardly got any sleep because of the noise from the drunken visitors in the common room. The person in charge did not do anything about it and even joined the fun. The other nights were fine. They offer all kinds of activities and have awashing place and good sanitation.

I had a very good feeling about this place when we book it for vacation. And i was absolutely right. Cool hostel, very clean, incredible stuff and kindness everywhere. Rooms are big and clean. Perfect location in the city center. Guys give us tips where to go and how. I want visit Baikal in the winter and this will be definitely place where i am gonna stay every time i am in Irkutsk! And where else you can listen Black Sabbath while sitting on the toilet 😂😍🖤 only there. Thank you!

We arrived at this hostel early in the morning and were immediately welcomed and told we could hang out until our room was ready. The staff were kind and chatty, and seemed genuinely interested in everyone - despite the crazy busy atmosphere! The shared space is comfortable and the rooms are well-equipped and super clean (lights, charging facilities, lockers for baggage, and as much space as is possible in a bunk!). All in all this is a great place to base yourself during your stay around lake Baikal.

We were staying in dorms for total of 4 nights. The hostel was very clean and modern, showers and laundry service was excellent! Staff spoke good english and were very helpful with everything. We met lot of other travellers all around the world and exchanged ideas and got tips for our journey. Only downside was that some evenings it was quite noisy, so if you have an early morning, it would be hard to get sleep early. Still I would recommend the hostel to everybody, it was the best hostel we stayed in Russia!

I was there in 2016. Very clean!! Staff and owners are very friendly! They speak english fluently as well. If you are stopping in Irkutsk, this definitely the place to stay. Place is very cosy. Market, Bars and Restaurants are walking distance.

The straff does an amazing job. All of them speak English well and someone is always there if you have any queries. The dorms are spacious. Showers and toilets are very clean and in the showers there is a lot of space. Even in the form you get your privacy, there's a curtain and every bed comes with its own plug and locker. You can use the washing machine and the dryer for 100 Rubel. It is very central.
