I was last in this hotel seven years ago. The quality seems to have declined a bit. But it is still very good. The location is excellent with a great view of the river. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom acceptable. The breakfast buffet has declined quite a bit in terms of food quality and quantity. That could...

The hotel is located on the bank of Volga river, very close to Kremlin and other attractions in the old part of the city. It is comfortable, the breakfast is OK. The restaurant is also a good choice for lunch or dinner. The people in the reception are very helpful. They also speak good English, which is rare in Nishniy...

This is a good hotel. Its clean, new, quiet, efficient and well located. The four stars on the wall and the almost 5-star Tripadvisor rating are a bit exagerated. Its very simple, mildly industrial in the room quality, very basic in many respects (food, gym, pool, toiletries, towels) and comes with an old-fashioned luke-warm Russian approach to service. The free...

W stayed in Nizhny for 5 nights and picked the hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel offered a very large room, with a small entrance vestibule. It is very nicely located, by the Volga river (very nice view), a 15 minute walk to the city centre and Kremlin. It is also very close to the...

One of the latest generation of hotels in Russia. It is fully up to western standards and has rooms with stunning views over the Volga. It is a slight disadvantage that it is a 20 minute (uphill) walk before you get to the sights of the town, but otherwise it is difficult to find fault. The staff are very helpful.

There are limited hotels in Nizhny and the Alexandrovsky Garden is in a good location to be able to walk to many of the sites to see in the city. It overlooks the Volga river and is in walking distance to a number of resturants. You can pre-book a taxi from the hotel to collect you from the airport which...

Having been booked into this hotel by our company, I have to say it was a good choice. A little out of the way from the centre but then again it has lovely views of the river. Nice outside terrace for dinner but watch out for the flies after dark. The pitfall of a riverside location. Recommended business hotel

It was my 3rd visit to this hotel for the last 3 years. Every summer I come to Nizhniy Novgorod and book Alexandrovskiy garden hotel. What I like about it is always the same good level of quality. Rooms are enough big and very clean. Bathrobe and a bottle of water are provided. You can use small spa center in...

The hotel is located a few kilometers away from central Nizhny, along the Volga river banks; just opposite the Ferry (crossing to Bor). The hotel building is quite new but the rooms are quite "old fashion" or very conservatively decorated. However it is all done with quality and attention to details. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Wifi is free...

I was fortunate enough to have this hotel booked for me as accommodation during one leg of my Russian tour back in October of 2011. The front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly. Rooms are spacious with a very tranquil ambience (subdued color scheme and romantic lighting). Bathrooms are equally as spacious, very clean and well equipped with amenities....
