This is a great boutique style hotel located in a historic building. I stayed for only couple nights, but still was able to appreciate how nice this stay was. I booked bigger room with two beds as my local friend was going to stay for a night with me - the room type was a Comfort Plus. It was a spacious room, and I think the sofa can pull into additional bed too, so you will have three beds if you need. The room had everything one might need, and was very clean. The bathroom had a great shower with both rain and hand-held shower heads, and even had a heated floor - which was really nice for taking a shower! The bathroom was very well organized and had a lot of storage and hooks to put your stuff away. The location of the hotel is just perfect: five minutes to the Palace Square where the Hermitage Museum is located, and even closer to the main street of Nevskiy Prospect. The area is historic and charming, with lots of nice little cafes. The service was amazing. All the staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. I needed to arrange transportation, and the hotel was very helpful with that - both in advance by e-mail and during the actual stay. I also needed to do a COVID test, and arranged for the courier from the lab to come and pick up the test at the hotel, so I don't have to waste any time going to the lab myself. The lab needed a Russian mobile phone number to contact me, which I didn't have. So the hotel provided their mobile phone number for me to give to the lab, and very promptly informed me when the courier arrived to the hotel for me. Whenever I needed somebody or something - they made it so easy. We stay in a lot of hotels all over the world, but the service in this hotel was one of the best I ever experienced, really. I had breakfast and dinner in the café which was located in the same building, but had a separate entrance. Both meals were very good and priced quite reasonably. So I highly recommend this hotel, and definitely would stay again.…
We were at Pushka Inn for a week and were amazed at the level of service we received. The staff helped us with storing bags while in Moscow, gave information about Covid testing, printed our PCR test for our convenience, arranged airport transportation, and showed hospitality to our friends who dropped by the hotel. The location of the hotel was very convenient to sites and we hope to stay there again when we visit St. Petersburg.
Wonderful place to stay while visiting Saint Petersburg. Rooms are very cozy, very clean, nicely updated with stylish details. Bathrooms are also very clean, well equipped with modern finishes. The staff is very well trained, very professional and happy to help with any questions/concerns. Buffet breakfast was also wonderful with good choices and always fresh and well-stocked at any time we come in. Location is excellent, right in the center but a bit away from the street noise, 10 minute walking distance to the Hermitage.
First lets start with the negative - we booked the family room and didnt realize until we entered the room - there is only rooftop windows - this means it is still bright in the room - but you cannot really look outside and see beautiful St. Petersburg - keep this in mind when you book the family room - but that is the only thing - everything else - staff, service, interior, food - simply amazing. We are planning to visit St Petersburg another time and we do not see any other reason of going into another hotel.
Absolutely wonderful. Was looking for an experience where a busy lobby, overwhelming amount of guests and cliche version of hospitality would not interfere with us "feeling" the city atmosphere to the fullest. Private, classy, clean and comfortable on every level. Will be back, hopefully many times.
