Detailed Reviews
If you are going to stay in St Petersburg then this hotel is the place to stay. It is such good value for money - the decor and quality of the rooms is like nothing I've ever seen before in a hotel, there is a harpist playing in the main reception each evening, and the staff are the most polite and helpful I've ever come across. Always holding doors open and asking you how your day is going - wonderful service! Would also recommend the Michelangelo Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and the waitress who served us there was lovely as well! Would recommend eating the seafood pizza and vanilla cheesecake especially.
The cars they have to offer for a taxi service are incredible, and the drivers are always prompt and on time.
This was an incredible luxury experience, and the best value for money on a 5 star hotel you can probably get.

So much to see it's overwhelming. Items were nicely spaced out so you weren't right on top of each other. History buffs will enjoy this place; little kids (might get bored) & those with mobility issues might struggle.

The hotel is simply gorgeous. Very beautiful interiors.
We were there from January 4 to January 7, the hotel was very beautifully decorated for the New Year. The rooms feel like they have just been renovated. Everything is clean and beautiful. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body cream from Loccitane, I love this company! I saw cosmetic accessories from this company in the hotel only in the Rixos chain. A toilet with a bidet seat that is also heated. I really liked it. Warm floors in the shower.
Despite the frost outside -24, the room was quite warm.
The staff is very responsive, friendly, helpful. We didn't like the view from our room and asked to see other available rooms of this category. Without any problems, they changed our room to a higher category, which we liked better. No extra charges. As an apology for the inconvenience.
2 hours of spa are included in the room rate free of charge. It’s very convenient that the spa is booked only for you, you are there alone! The hammam and bath are excellent, everything is clean. The pool is not deep, the interior of the spa is in Gzhel style, very beautiful. There is a rest room.
Breakfast is a bit expensive of course, the buffet system is 3tr per person, but you can also order from the menu. But there are a lot of different delicious cafes around the hotel, we went there for breakfast.
The hotel runs a free shuttle to the Hermitage Museum. And you are taken to the museum without queues through the director’s entrance.
Deposit 10TR per room, refunded automatically within 1 hour after check-out.
Overall the hotel is very cool at a low price. We will definitely stay here again.

While this hotel is not very close to the museum, there is free transportation to it every day and you can buy the tickets at the hotel which is very helpful.
The hotel is beautiful, has nice rooms, common areas, bar, and restaurant. Staff is very helpful. It´s three blocks away from the Metro, and also there are cabs that belong to the hotel that can carry you everywhere, including the airport. You can make a reservation ahead of time and they will be waiting for you.

My husband and I attended the 2020 Party Like a Royal Gala. We are in our 30's. We were not guests at this hotel but we chose this event because it was the least expensive compared to the rest of the hotels events. The big pro was that it was away from Nevesky Ave, which was absolutely packed and crazy. Think time square in NYC. The cons were that the food was not good, but the drinks were overflowing. We drank a lot of champagne. The entertainment was fun enough. However, from 9pm-1am there is no where to explore or to go, we were seated the entire time. The event was in the front lobby of the hotel so we didnt have a chance to see the rest of the hotel. If you want to do dancing after the dinner you have to pay extra which we did not. In all it was ok.

We really enjoyed the hotel.
A truly luxurious interior, very much like classic hotels in Paris. The room is quiet, spacious and very cozy, the interior is tastefully made, you can see that all materials are expensive and high quality. There are all the ingredients of quality sleep: very comfortable mattress, crisp, snow-white bed linen, blackout curtains.
The staff takes care of the guests - greeted with a smile, escorted to the room, quickly delivered the luggage.
The room has Loxitan makeup, bathrobes, all the necessary disposables. A smart home system is provided, all switches are sensory.
Overall, the hotel reflects St. Petersburg very well: palace, luxurious, lush. Excellent location for accommodation - 7 minutes on foot to the Fontaca waterfront, Mariinsky Theatre. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around. I'd love to be back.

During my recent trip to St. Petersburg, I decided to stay at the "Official Hotel of the Hermitage State Museum" and it became one of the most memorable parts of the trip. This hotel perfectly combines luxury, comfort and an artistic atmosphere.
The first thing that is striking is the interior. It is designed in an exquisite classical style with elements reminiscent of the grandeur of the Hermitage itself. From the marble staircases to the elegant décor in the room, everything feels like you're in the royal chambers.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I had a room with a beautiful view of the city. The bed is comfortable, the linen is high quality and the bathroom was provided with all necessary accessories. A nice bonus was the evening cleaning service and compliments from the hotel.
Breakfast is a separate treat! The wide range of dishes, fresh food and attentive service made each morning special. The hotel restaurant also serves exquisite dishes that I tried for dinner - I recommend staying for dinner at the hotel at least once.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. The Hermitage can be reached in a few minutes, and the main attractions of the city are within walking distance. This is very convenient for those who want to make the most of their time in the city.
Service was up to scratch. The staff is polite, responsive and available to help with any question. I felt really welcome.
If you want to feel part of the cultural history of St. Petersburg and enjoy the high level of service, I recommend staying here. This hotel is more than just a place to sleep, it is a real immersion in the atmosphere of art and luxury. I'll definitely come back here again!

Stayed at the Hermitage Hotel from 1.10 to 2.10. The impression of the place is not satisfactory. A frankly tired, outdated hotel. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, but that's where the upside ends. There is no tea station in the junior suite, guests should drink coffee even at night, according to the hotel. Breakfast was cooked for a very long time, oatmeal with bugs was brought, which suggests expired cereals, in which insects dangerous to human health have already been planted. You never expect a hotel that bills itself as 5-star to start the day with such an unpleasant situation! The swimming pool is also one name, a big one looks like a baby frog just above the knee, you can't swim, the hydromassage upper for the back doesn't work, in the zem on the side you can see the rye stripes and the grates for water drainage also in rust, in the corners of the showers there is mold, the unpleasant smell of chlorine, and overall the photo on the site (attached) and the reality don't match... a woman employee came into the locker room and explained where to throw the slippers, and where to throw the robe, gives it to the collective farm. Unpleasant experience after being in a hotel. Price/quality not in line. Questions about sanitation.

Modern comfortable hotel near the Hermitage Museum (not really walking distance, but the hotel runs a convenient transit bus and will arrange good quality tours). Good service from the front desk (with excellent English). Nice breakfast selection.

It should not come for several reasons
For several reasons, she should not come to break a very worthless gold coin by my child, which may be worth less than one dollar. I can get 4000 rubles from us to receive the picture of the gold coin. You can see that there is no such receipt anywhere.

Dear Joanameg,
Warm greetings from The Official State Hermitage Hotel.
Kindly be informed that we accept Visa Mastercard, Amex, Union Pay.
If you need any further assistance do not hesitate to contact us right away and we will respond urgently.
It's a short distance away opposite the museum. Suggest to spend time in museum to appreciate the luxury life of the Russian affluent socialites.
There is a kettle but just tea. You’ll need your own coffee and milk
Yes, there is. I cannot remember exactly, but it was about $10 per person. It was just an insult to a hotel guest. It closes at 10pm.
Contact the hotel and they will arrange for the hotel car to collect you from the airport for a fee. I used this service recently and it was fantastic.
