Like many before me, I agree about the great location near the underground station. However, many here say the breakfast was poor. I really didn't notice it was bad at all :D It was alright to me, something warm, fruit and even something sweet. If I get the chance to visit St Petersburg again, I'd gladly stay at this hotel... The hotel is with a perfect location - a walking distance from the historical center of the city. The room was perfectly clean and cosy. Only minus is the breakfast - low quality of the food with now choice - only several different products.

The hotel is very well located, practically in a walking distance of 15-20 minutes from a great number of the main attractions of St. Petersburg. It encompasses the 3 top floors of a large shopping center - useful for getting supplies. The reception is located on the ground floor and sometimes to small to cope with the number of arriving/departing... More

I stayed four nights in Dostoevsky hotel with my family and friends in July 2016.Reception desk staff were friendly and spoke good English.Standard rooms were small with bathroom's door just opened directly towards your beds and mosquito are your guests at nights!. we asked reception to change our room because of mosquito, but they denied. Breakfast was not to international... More

Hotel reception spoke good English. Location is hotel's best asset: if you arrive by train to the Findlandsky railway station, you just take the metro and arrive to the front of the hotel. You can walk to Nevski pr in 5 minutes. So I would stay in this hotel again.

A large hotel above a shopping mall. It was very busy when we were there, and the lifts are totally inadequate at peak periods, as well as the breakfast room. Roms are small, but comfortable. Good location and wslkable from the Hermitage.

The pictures that are on the website are very well done but do not reflect the reality. This hotel claim to be a 4 stars hotel and from my opinion it should not be more than 3 with a lot of indulgence. The breakfast was not diverse at all. The staff is cold. The room lights are completely unintuitive and... More

A good hotel well located near the Nevsky Prospect with a number of good restaurants within walking distance. Pleasant helpful staff. Sizeable clean room. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Hair drier and safe. No noise if doubled glazed windows shut.Shopping Mall and Super Market in same building. Breakfast fine. Would recommend it.

We recently stayed here, our first hotel in Russia, so we stayed away from posting about this place until we had adequate perspective on Russian hotels. Check in was difficult, as we collided with big tour groups, everyone fighting to get into tiny lifts. Room was tiny, but very clean. Breakfast was entertaining..when something ran out, was not replaced, so... More

To be honest, I was a bit worried about our coming trip to Dostoyevskiy hotel, as reviews were a bit disappointing. But when we arrived and got our rooms, it appeared to be very clean and perfectly located hotel. I don't know what people wish to get, but the furniture was normal and not tired, as many write here, the room... More
