Breakfast is monotonous, but the choice is always there,: sausages, chicken breast, fish, eggs, omelets, bread products, juices, including freshly squeezed, tea, coffee, fruits and vegetables, one type of porridge, cottage cheese and curd products are missing, there is milk and kefir, yogurt in packs- for 4+ Staff: waiters work well for 4+ (sometimes forget about ordered coffee). Stayed at this hotel as part of a business trip. It is very convenient and comfortable to get to from the Moscow station, where you arrived from another city. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by very pleasant and attentive staff at the reception. After checking in, I didn’t have time to put my passport away and, since my hands were busy, I accidentally dropped it - the doorman brought my passport to the room. We were very pleased with the breakfast - varied and nutritious, breakfast was organized in a beautiful, bright room. I was flying back by plane and they promptly helped me with the transfer. Highly recommend.

I lived in a standard room, everything was fine: thermostat, refrigerator, bed linen, dishes, towels, bathrobes, slippers, bath accessories, shoe polish, even books. Very cozy atmosphere, looks nice. The only negative is that instead of one large mattress there were two small ones; in the evening this was not noticeable, but in the morning it was a little disturbing. Otherwise there are no complaints. The gym deserves special attention. It’s small, but the fitness equipment is modern, you can get a decent workout, they also offer a sauna, but I didn’t go there. The hotel definitely deserves the highest rating.

Perhaps the main advantage of the hotel is its staff - from reception to restaurant workers. Booked a romantic package. The Superior Standard Room with Rooftop View is lovely. A working jacuzzi bath was a pleasant surprise. A heart of rose petals on the entire bed will touch the heart of any girl! The room has everything you need, including tea and coffee making facilities, which were replenished in the morning. Breakfast in the atrium is an ordinary buffet. I wasn't impressed with anything bright. Although the coffee was good and the freshly squeezed orange juice was nice. What made me tense during breakfast was that I saw a man in shorts! This is unacceptable for a city 5-star hotel!!! Our package included dinner at the Japanese restaurant DNS. We didn’t get into the restaurant - there was a birthday party there and they offered us a separate beautiful room for two next to the atrium. Very beautiful and romantic. Dinner strictly according to the proposed menu. As I understand it, it included the cheapest dishes from the entire range offered by the restaurant. We had a great time, but the dishes were mostly unimpressive. We need to work on this. Overall, we had a wonderful time and remember this hospitable hotel with gratitude. At that time, it was the best offer in terms of price/quality among the top 5-star hotels in St. Petersburg. I definitely recommend this hotel to all city guests and local residents. I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay at the hotel - after checking in, the temperature in the room began to rise - as they said at the reception after the call - the air conditioning system broke down - and the window in the room is blocked and does not open. When the temperature had already reached 27 degrees, after several calls and an hour of waiting, they opened the window and a technician came, who could do nothing except confirm that the system really did not work. It was already 12 am, we started reporting the problem at 10 pm. We ended up sleeping with the window open. But our problems did not end there - the shower room smelled horribly of sewage - so strong that it was impossible to enter without holding your breath, otherwise your eyes would water. After addressing this problem, 2 technicians came and said that nothing could be done - and everyone left us like that. There were no proposals to solve this problem from the hotel. As a result, the next morning I had to go down to the reception and warn that if the problem was not solved, then we would have to move to another hotel, only after that we were offered to change the room. Why couldn’t this be done immediately and with the hotel’s initiative??? I consider this an outrageous situation and conditions for a 5 star hotel. I am very upset by this situation.

For absolutely reasonable money we booked a standard room with a terrace. The terrace is gorgeous. The room itself also suited everyone. The wine in the photo in the interiors of the room was brought with us. The “expensive-bokhato” style of the hotel’s foyer was a bit reminiscent of the Spaso House - shelving, armchairs. Breakfast was bought on the spot for 1,650 rubles. per person. Coffee and sparkling wine (on weekends) are served, the rest is a buffet. There is also a breakfast menu, but we didn’t even really look at it, since the buffet was fine for us. I also liked the place for breakfast - in the atrium of the hotel building.

Service is up to par. The breakfasts are great🤗🤗🤗 It was stuffy in the room, the adjustment was centralized, everything was adjusted within an hour. Everything is clean and tidy. At 7.30 on a wonderful summer morning in St. Petersburg, on which our whole family planned to sleep until 10 am (weekends are not often given out), we were awakened by the host’s shout coming directly from under our window (the hotel courtyard) accompanied by heartily blasted 80s disco bass. In response to our request at the reception to rectify the situation and let the guests sleep, because the guest’s sleep is the main thing that decent hotels care about, they told us “You can give feedback” If you love yourself, your children and are not ready to explain to the hotel why, instead of a cheap one-time event, you need to choose respect for your guests, never stay at the EMERALD GRAND HOTEL, this is the bottom, friends, just the bottom!

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of St. Petersburg centre. Good size rooms. Super clean. Responsive and welcoming staff. Luxury suits are fantastic value. Some standard rooms have windows into the hotel courtyard, so could be noisy during functional events. If you prefer peace and quiet ask for a high floor room facing 6th Sovietskaya street. Beware of lack of disabled facilities and arrangements for elderly.

Dear Guests! The usage of gym is free of charge for guests of our Hotel from 07:30-23:00 (during the week) and from 08:30-23:00 (during weekends and holidays). The swimming pool is available during morning hours only (free of charge) from 07:30-10:30 (during the week) and from 08:30-10:30 (during weekends and holidays). After 10:30 in order to use swimming pool guests have to rent the whole SPA.

St.Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex is not within walking distance. The fastest way to get there is the subway, it will take about 30-40 minutes from the Hotel to the Center. We are located next to Ploshad Vosstaniya Subway Station and the Sports and Concert complex - next to Park Pobedy Subway Station. The Subway ride will take about 30 minutes plus 10 minutes walking from Grand Hotel Emerald to the Station.
