The rooms are adequate and clean. The athmosphere in the hotel is depressed. The staff are listless and uninspired. Breakfast is adequate but no more than that.
Location is not great. It takes 2 metros to get to the Hermitage and other sights.
Like everyone else at this hotel I stayed here with a tour group so didn't have a choice.
