POSITIVE: The location is great, just a short walking distance from Nevskiy Prospekt. The dorm size is fine, you have some space for changing your clothes and arrange your baggage. The place is clean and the kitchen, even though is quite small, is well equiped with fridge, microwave and all necessary kitchenware. NEGATIVE: Only two showers and two WC for...

Fantastic location (behind Kazan Cathedral, some 300m from Nevsky prospect), lovely little hotel, great service. Don’t expect a conventional looking hotel. You think you are at the wrong address when you see a large metal door, but go through the large, old foyer, up a few steps, and through another metal door and you will find the unassuming reception desk....

Excellent location and good value for money if you don't expect a 5-star experience. The hotel is located on a (relatively) quiet street less than 5 minutes walk to Nevsky. There's a cool vegetarian café next door. The staff was helpful, the room was clean and a decent size. Not much of a breakfast, and it's served in a tiny...

This hotel is in a great location, just off the main road through Saint Petersburg. There is no need to use the metro to get around the city as everything is within walking distance. Clean room and friendly staff. Don't get excited about breakfast, it's basic.

The hotel concentrates on what is important- the room was spacious and pleasant, and the hotel does not suffer from any external noise. Everything was pleasant, clean and well-run. I would certainly stay here again. The run-down exterior that people comment on is really not a problem once the hotel becomes familiar; it almost makes it feel more like a...

The entrance is scaring. If I was traveling with a girl, I would turn around at the exact moment I arrived. The door is a massive piece of metal and to find the hotel is not so easy, since are other doors with the same adress. The impression is that you are entering in a bunker and if something happen...

The hotel is in a good location and isnt bad at all but my experience was ruined by the staff. I stayed there for 3 nights. On the last night I went to a near by bar. I stupidly tried to keep up with a group of Russian people at drinking. This was a terrible mistake. As you will imagine,...
