A geat expierience. The hotel is beautiful, the themed rooms spotless clean. The food excellent. The staff is very friendly and help us with directions, even walk with us from shop to shop to find a plug. Help to dry our chlothes. There is always a cheerful admosphere in reception. The town is beautiful and the people is all so friendly. Cannot have a better expierience on a holiday. The will see me again.
Well located in downtown, near restaurants and some historical attractions, in front of a nice park and with decoration related to Russian movies. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff that speaks enough English. Prices are very reasonable. It’s restaurant serves good food. Breakfast could be better: No fruits and only one kind of juice. Room was ok but beds were too soft. If you want no noise, ask for a third floor room to avoid the restaurant’s music. Shortcoming: it has no elevator but there will always someone to help you carry your luggage.
The hotel is located in a very good zone - center but on a quite street. You can walk to the river in 5 minutes or to the center of bars and restaurants, We lived in Lovers (Lubovniki) room on the third (last) floor. Very spacious, clean, bathroom has all necessary things. The room has only two mansard windows but they give enough day light. the idea of having all rooms decorated as movies made in Yaroslavl is unusual but turned out to be nice. At least, while it is freshly opened, it leaves good impressions. Staff is friendly and smiling. Breakfast is to be chosen between two options. And they serve it on a big plate with all options well combined. No elevator, of course. The entrance to the hotel is separated from a bar zone down by a special door that prevents any noise from reaching the rooms.…
This is a butik-hotel; decoration is based on russian movies ideas. Perfectly situated place - in the middle of old city. You just need to se a city map to make sure of it. Very-very client-oriented staff. Even in top-season time we received an extra bed as soon.as we asked (I fogot to request it in advance). Also, I was totally pleased, when reception staff called me 2 weeks before our visit and asked, if we wanted to book a table in the hotel's restraunt for a period of our stay (that was a top-season time of long vacations in Russia). Tasty food, based on russian traditions, still with european trends. So, try the restraunt if you want to have experience in russian cooking. All 3 nights we ate in the restraunt. Breakfasts are quite eatable also (not a buffet table, but still OK). Extreamly clean rooms and hotel overall. (A chield played on the flow, so I know about cleaness a lot). Rooms are newly decorated, whith interesting design. The hotel has perfect web-site, so you can see all the rooms there. The only minus for me - is a smoking bar area. But this is a general issue in Russia: very many people smoke. Thanks God, there is a non-smoking area in the restrant. Conclusion: perfect place for a stay in Yaroslavle.…
Each of 20 rooms of the hotel has its own design based on famous Russian/Soviet movie that was shoot in Yaroslavl or nearby. The hotel is located right in the center of the city, just 2 minutes walk from the Spasso-Preobrazhensky monastery and 5 minutes from Volga and Kotorosl rivers. The food in the restourant is russian style and delicious.
