I stayed at the Izmailovo for a week in February '09 (honestly I don't remember if I was in the Gamma or Delta hotel). It was about the cheapest place I could find in Moscow. This hotel has an eerie feeling. Before you can get on the lobby elevator, a security guard checks your room key. I suppose this could...

Good access to the undeground. By Moscow standards, the price was reasonable. Overall an adequate 2/3 star hotel with great buffet breakfast. Lack of air conditioning on sunny side of hotel in summer makes rooms very hot. Good and fast service, lots of little restaurants in the hotel and the neighborhood.

Stayed in Gamma for 4 days, generally a good eperience; reception spoke pretty good English and were reasonably friendly (in a very Russian way ie no smiles) but after a while they actually smiled at our pathetic attempts at Russian, as do the other staff. Great services, internet cafe, dry cleaning reataurants etc, check prices before you buy they can...

This hotel is great a great alternative if you don't want to pay for a high priced hotel in the center. The hotel is very close to a metro station, which is very cheap and easy to use if you can read Russian. The Metro itself is worth seeing. Moscow has the most beautiful metro stations I have ever seen....

Stayed here for 5 nights. Hotel was very clean, spacious rooms and very large complex with everything you could need on hand. metro station right at complex with only 5 stops to Red Square, Kremlin etc. The one big downfall was that we were there in the middle of the HEATWAVE that Moscow is experiencing and there is no air-conditioning...

First things first. The hotel is not in a city center, but it is only 3-4 minutes walk from a metro station. The same metro line that takes you directly to the center including Red Square. One thing to keep in mind that Moscow is a huge city and no matter what you do you'll find yourself in a metro...

We stayed at the Delta part of the complex. Rooms were clean, very good size, comfortable beds. They let you choose your pillow from several options. Bathroom had a tub, hair dryer and towel warmer. The room, besides the usual toiletries has a pair of thin, disposable slippers and a sewing kit. There's also a small fridge and safety box....

The hotel is located a bit far outside the city centre, however, it is extremely easy to use the metro, which runs frequently. The area around the hotel offers some interesting possibilities - there is a funny market with lots of souvenirs and other stuff and the nearby Izmailovsky Park is nice to stroll around in. Furthermore there is a...

A real bargain: in the winter months weekend rates fall to $76 a night. People should remember the complex is divided into 4 separate units; each leases out a large number of rooms to Russian travel organizations who sell on the internet and also outside Partizanskaia metro station via individual hawkers. This is an acceptable business practice [for Russia]. Rooms...

The rooms were clean and had everything you needed. The metro was just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The free wi-fi was a good amenity. The restaurants were quite expensive, but then so was Moscow in general. There were lots of little shops nearby to buy food and drink.
