I stayed at Korston during my short business trip to Moscow.

I wouldn't call it a fancy hotel, but it was nice enough. The bed was very comfy, the shower had nice hot water and I really liked the food at both restaurants.

After staying at a number of the Moscow hotels, finding a less expensive one than the Radisson or Rennaisance, I tried the Orlyonek. Reception looks good, the rooms are big and the breakfast buffet is good. It is clean as well. It also has a casino and erotica bar (if you're that way inclined) and it somewhat reminds you of Las Vegas sometimes. Can't comment on the Restuarants, but no internet service in your room, makes business a little tougher.

Although the hotel is not in the centre of the city, we thought the location was great. We had a perfect view of the Moscow River and of the city that you wouldn't get if you were staying in the city itself. It was only a short walk to the metro which was then an easy ride to all attractions such as the Kremlin and Red Square. The room was comfortable and a good size and the staff were very helpful. The number of different restaurants in the hotel meant we could dine somewhere different every night without even going out. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The Hotel itself wouldn't be so bad, the breakfast was ok while the rooms a bit too little however average. The problem with this hotel is that is a place for gambling, prostitution and criminal's faces going in & out of the door. "Professional girls" are quite pushy with foreign hotel customers and the atmosphere is broken by the vulgarity of people attending the lobby. You expect a gun killing or a mafia attack every minute. A mention a part deserves the top floor restaurant, good but expensive.

We had this hotel booked by our local organiser for an event held in Luzhniki. And I must say, the vicinity of the hotel to Luzhniki, is the only good thing about that hotel.

I read some previous reviews here on Trip Advisor that were quite alarming on the quality of accommodation, food, but also atmosphere of the hotel before I left for Moscow. And all of them got proven right.

The english is not very much spoken at that hotel, and most of the talks or order we had where going through (god bless) Google. Also, the personnel is quite far from being welcoming.

We had most of our meals at Evoo restaurant, the good thing is that you eat the same (cold) food pretty much all day long as the buffet is almost always the same.

We read that hotel was also visited by hookers, and we got that fact cross-checked as well, with various noises coming from the rooms around. I understand that people are enjoying their stay, but statistically, never heard so many in the span of a week.

Room comfort is basic, and the two single bed joined to make a queen, did not make the trick, it was quite uncomfortable.

Avoid it as much as you can.

It is a 3star hotel the most and NOT a 4star! The room was very old with an old bathroom and not very clean. There was not any shower gel and shampoo but a single wall mounted bottle with a very low quality liquid shoap. There wer not sleepers, even sewing kit in the room.

A weird looking hotel from the outside, looks like a Las Vegas hotel from the 70s but then it did used to be a casino. The actual hotel part is very nice.. rooms large and comfortable and with lots of nice little touches like clothes brush, shoe horns etc., etc. I cannot fault the accommodation. Breakfast was good too, European type buffet but you couldn't ask for more and the restaurant itself was very chic and comfortable. However, we were on a tour with "Just You" with a prepaid meal in the evening... what happened was that they took us from the "hotel" part to some tables in what was the old casino, which is now a sports bar and we had three nights sitting under a huge sports screen having our meals whilst others watched and cheered sporting events on the tv!! We asked to change but apparently was not allowed as the other restaurants, such as where we had our breakfast was "al la carte", even though nobody was using them! Meals were thrown at you virtually and the desert was danish pastries left from the morning. Staff were sullen and rude and not attentive. The actual hotel is out of the main city centre and a bit of a trek into town with a long walk to the metro. There is nothing around or nowhere else to go so you have to stay in the hotel. Drinks prices are very very pricey for extremely small measures.

If you feel like living by a strip-club and weird-looking businessmen, then you got the place!

This hotel has a terrible reputation among Moscow residents.

The rooms are old and the view absolutely horrible. Not to mention the tasteless breakfast and the general feeling of insecurity within the premises.

What a liberation to go to SVO airport!

I strongly recommend to go for a 3* star hotel nearby, you'd feel better during your business stay.

Note: of course, if you plan on going to the strip-club (and enjoy the services provided), you should add 2* to the review), since the club is inside the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for ten days doing business at the Moscow university , which is a ten minute walk away through a lovely park . The hotel is a decent 3 star , with added extras like free internet and phone calls which is very handy . The rooms are decent and recently refurbished with mini bar and safe . The airconditioning im my room didnt work it only blew air not cooled it . Most staff spoke reasonable english and check in was a bit slow and chaotic .
The most interesting or alarming aspect of the hotel is the amount of women soliciting both inside and outside the hotel , it also has a dedicated mens club , it kind of felt like staying in a brothel . It also was once ( last year ) a casino and so it not the most tastful of foyers , but it does have a bowling alley . All in all a very bizarre experience .......
