I had a very good experience at this hotel. It is very well located, near Arbat, the room was very comfortable and generous in space and the bars and restaurants are recommended. Price quality ratio is also very attractive.

This is a good alternative to some of the more expensive hotels in and around the Moscow city centre area. It is close to Smolenskaya metro station and within walking distance to Arbatskaya shopping street. The staff are friendly and helpful and, in general, they provide service with a smile. Yes, the hotel is a bit of a throwback to... More

Actually this hotel is my standard choice of stay each time I visit Moscow on business. It's really well located in the center of the city and very close to the Moscow City business center on one side and to the Arbat street on the other. The staff is nice and tries to be helpful. They even don't charge you... More

Anywhere that has a harpist playing in the restaurant at breakfast time is lovely! I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a corner suite with an amazing view of the Moscow skyline, go when it's freezing cold in winter to appreciate the full on Russian experience and don't forget to go to Red Square!

The Golden Ring Hotel is a classic type hotel with large rooms, and much decor. I rented a junior suite and was very satisfied with the standard and the service. Large bed, two rooms and a wonderful view over parts of the city. The hotel is great located with the Arbat pedestrian street close by. I surely recommend the hotel!

Chose this hotel after being let down by another one and so glad we did. The hotel is well designed with just the right amount of class - enough to enjoy but not too much to become unfriendly. Room was a little narrow but only a little and the view more than makes up for it. Breakfast was good and... More

Hotel is old hotel. Was called Belgrad before. The hotel is located across old Arbat. I would say in the Center of the city. Not as close to Red Square (if you have any business there). The service is still type of Soviet Union. Lifts are small. We have problem with iron. It was resolved but only after some argues.... More

Staying in Khamovniki

Neighborhood Profile
Khamovniki
Khamovniki could be considered a city of its own – here it’s possible to find some of Moscow’s most important cultural institutions such as the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the Novodevichy Convent and Trubetskikh Estate, great sport locations such as Luzhniki stadium and aqua complex, and long and beautiful Luzhniki embankment. Pick your preferred form of transport to explore the area – bicycle or river cruise during the summer and taxi in winter as many of the great places are situated beyond a short walk.
