Second time to Moscow but first time staying in the centre. This hotel really was in an excellent location - minutes from Red Square and the Kremlin and easy to get to several Metro stations on various lines. The staff were friendly and helpful although with varying degrees of English. The hotel was clean if ever so slightly shabby, but... More

First time to Moscow so I can't really compare apples to apples here, but the hotel was nice. However the bed I had was by far the worst I'd ever slept in... I'm not one to complain, it was just honestly really really hard on my back! I would stay again if I got a different bed.

Given the location and costs, this hotel is worth it. We stayed in a junior suite which gave us two rooms. Initially we saw a single room. It too would have been adequate. However, the junior suite was well worth the difference. The breakfast is extensive. The staff are very helpful. Many on the street do not know where it... More

This hotel impressed me with its poor services. There were two staff waiting by the door when I got off the taxi with luggages, they just kept talking without even opening the hotel doors for us. Every time we got out/ return to the hotel, the team of staff on duty in the lobby just kept talking without anyone taking... More

We booked a deluxe room but got upgraded to a VIP Suite so I'm not going to be complaining. We got our own hallway, huge sitting room with dining table (we never used), vast bedroom, full bathroom and another toilet. Two huge flatscreen TVs (with no channels worth watching!) All very old-fashioned idea of what 'luxury' means but certainly clean... More

I stayed for 5 nights with my wife and teenage son. We had a junior suite A which had a separate bedroom and a refrigerator. Red Square/ Kremlin was an easy walk. Room was clean, water pressure and hot water good. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Food market, restaurants etc. close by. Located on a cross street, room was on 4th... More

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighborhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
