This company own quite a few Appatments in several blocks on Arbat St .They are very clean and have everything you need for a very comfortable self catering stay..All the Appatments are in a sort after location and very central just a 10 minute walk to the Kremlin.
The service they offer is brilliant a driver was waiting for us at the airport and drove us to the apartment (approx 1hr30mins ) .Marsha was a represent ice that was already at the apartment waiting to greet us.She was very helpful and her English was of a very high standard .We did have a slight problem the Appatment wasn't are confirmed booking, this was due to us changing from a one bedroom studio to a two, it had somehow got forgotten.Marsh spoke to the office & they found the error, they had no other available that night and was very apologetic.Marsha agreed to changing are Appatments the next day which was actually two studios with adjoining doors and offered us a complimentary driver for our return to the airport.I always feel its when you have a problem that you can truly see how good a company is, and they certainly sorted ours out with no problems.I would highly recommend anyone to stay with this company .

We stayed at the Moscow Suites for 5 nights 14-19th September 2014. We found the service from our booking until leaving to be very professional and efficient.

The apartment (Deluxe Studio Gold 22 Noviy Arbat) was as we expected. It was spacious and clean with everything needed for self catering. It was located on the 21st floor of the tower block which afforded us great views over the city from both the apartment and the balcony. The location is excellent, about a 10-15 minute walk to the Kremlin and all amenities to hand. Given this was our first visit to Russia the staff at the Moscow Suites answered all of our enquiries by e-mail promptly and we received our visa invitations and advice on documentation required, which was appreciated.

We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend for anyone thinking of visiting Moscow. We have posted a few pictures, please note the balcony is outside the apartment at the front of the tower block, the apartment window is to the side of the block.

I stayed in the Gold flat for one week. The flat is perfect, an easy 20-min walk at grade to the Kremlin or to Moscow City. The flat includes a soaking tub and a washing machine, along with every other amenity (a new Bosch kitchen) with the exception of a drip coffee maker. Maid service comes every other night. The flat is more beautiful than the pictures, as it has expansive windows overlooking Arbat, Moscow City and western Moscow. There is an excellent grocery store right across the street. It even has a local phone. The 2 girls are very professional and helpful- their business is based on word of mouth and they want everything to be perfect for you. The price is absurdly low for Moscow, and they even throw in car service from the airport. Lovely room, lovely management and outrageous value.

The apartment doesnt look like the same in pics on website. Even the building is too old. Stayed for 4 nights. Room cleaning done only once. They dont hold any office. They have just hired some apartments and now they are renting out to tourist. Interiors of apartment are old. The apartment is expensive depending on the quality. The only reason for booking the apartment was due to Kitchen. If someone is not interested in cooking, please go for hotel room.

Dear Guest, we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, we work extremely hard to make sure our guests are delighted with our accommodations, as can be demonstrated by our hundreds of positive reviews. During your stay you called us several times for concierge assistance, etc, but at no time did we understand you weren't happy with anything- we would have done our best to accommodate your concerns. I must address a couple of points specifically in your review which are inaccurate, firstly we are the only Serviced Apartment provider in Moscow who own apartments, and therefore renovate & maintain them to a high standard, and the photos are exactly our apartments, including the apartment in which you stayed. In the centre of historic Moscow, there are almost no brand new buildings (construction is restricted), but all buildings are well-maintained, clean, safe and with lifts, and every apartment is finished to high standards. Furthermore, the price which you paid for your accommodation is extremely cheap for the dates you stayed compared to other accommodation in Moscow, while you may have been able to find a cheaper apartment with a competitor (which based on your review you certainly wouldn't have liked), hotels would have cost you far more, especially with your group of four people. Cleaning is done for all apartments twice per week, so for a 4-night stay it is done once in the middle of your stay. Additional cleaning is available on request, but it was not requested. In any case, we would be delighted to address your concerns and wishes as best we can on a future stay, please contact us if we can be of assistance.

I'm surprised this got such good reviews. I thought it was much like Moscow - too expensive and poor quality.

First warning - this is definitely not for businesspeople. There is no reception to show you where to go or how to get around. Moscow is big and not very tourist friendly for non-Russian speakers so those with limited time in the city should stay clear of Moscow Suites. Also because there is no central building or lobby there is no place for guest to meet you if you want to get picked up or invite contacts to meet for a coffee or meeting. I and a new contact from St. Petersburg spent 45 minutes trying to find each other. A central location would have solved this dilemma. After five days in Moscow I finally figured out how best to navigate the city, but by then it was time to go.

Second warning- there is very little service. Unlike service apartments in Asia which have a full time person in the same building, Moscow Suite are basically apartments in random older Soviet era buildings. Guests also have to bring most of what they need. There was no soap when I arrived after a 10 hour flight from HK and I had to use the shampoo for my first shower. Do you really want to scramble to buy soap in a new city?

Third warning - the rooms can be noisy. The first apartment I stayed at was on the ground floor and I had trouble sleeping due to traffic not too far from the window. Despite having great weather when I went in July, I did not want to open the windows or draw back the curtains as there was always someone in the tiny park outside my window. Between three sleepless nights and jet lag, I lost it and complained bitterly to a very sweet and level headed person sent to check me in and out. I was then upgraded to different flat on a higher floor with a view. I appreciate the upgrade, but this was another 1-1.5 hours to pack, move, unpack.

Fourth warning - poor instructions. While the rooms come with a washing machine the English language directions were piss poor so I had to spend extra time calling reception to help do a simple wash.

Fifth warning - poor maintenance/upkeep. The blinds and other ares that are easy to forget were very dusty, the shower handle broke, there was chipped paint in the bathroom, etc.

Sixth warning - is location that good like others say? I was disappointed in the Arbat neighbourhood. Seemed like it may have been happening and fashionable in the decade after the USSR fell, but has since not been kept up. I imagine - certainly hope - there are better neighbourhoods in Moscow these days. It is very central and you can walk to the Kremlin however.

Seventh warning - prices quoted and paid were different. The prices I remember being quoted seemed different than what I actually paid. It's like Booking.com quoted prices that were 70-80% of the total amount. The say thing happened at the hotel in St. Pete's so I suspect it is all Russian quotes and not just Moscow Suties.

One good thing - the wifi worked very well in both rooms I stayed at.

If I were to go back to Moscow I’d search for a less expensive, full service hotel in a not-so-expensive location.

Response from Intlmutt, Manager at Moscow Suites Serviced Apartments
Responded Aug 10, 2014
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are disappointed that your experience staying with us clearly did not match your expectations, we try to ensure all our guests are as comfortable as possible. Obviously we were unable to do so in your case and we will strive to do better in the future, but I do find some of your comments to be misleading and inaccurate, and as you took the time to spell out your seven "warnings", I will do my best to address each one. 1) Your "warning" that Moscow Suites is not for business travellers will be a surprise to the 70%+ of our guests who stay frequently with us while conducting business. As you note, Moscow can be unfamiliar to those who do not speak Russian, so we offer free airport/train pickup (we are the ONLY accommodation in central Moscow to do so), complete apartment orientation in our staff's fluent English, guest materials & TV channels in English/Russian, as well as helpful cards/maps, etc, to ensure our guests don't get lost and can always find their way home. You are correct in noting that we don't have a lobby bar to meet guests/clients, but only 5-Star hotels have these in the centre of Moscow. The nearest hotel with lobby averages $600/night- you paid $165/night. Many of our guests choose to meet friends or clients in the coffee shop or restaurant on the ground floor of the apartment building or nearby, or even the nearby hotel lobby bar, I'm not sure why it should take 45 minutes for you to find your contact. 2) Services & Amenities: All our apartments are fitted out with not only fully-equipped kitchens, flat-screen TV's, high-speed unlimited Wifi (which you note was very good), orthopaedic mattresses, washing machines, and also imported 5-Star quality linens, towels, shampoos, soap, bath gel, washing powder, other toiletries, water, tea, coffee, etc. (Good value for $165/night?). Our apartments are located in perfectly safe, well-maintained buildings in the centre of Moscow, but they are not brand-new buildings. The only brand-new accommodation buildings in centre of Moscow are 5-Star hotels (please see pricing in point 1). 3) All our apartments use triple-pane weather & sound-proofed glass, and the apartment you stayed in looks out over a secured private parking area and park. It is unlikely that there was high-speed traffic going past your apartment at any time. The closest traffic would be from the road 50m to the left of your apartment building. Unfortunately if you choose to stay in the very centre of a city of 15 million people, opening a window is likely to result in road noise. You selected our cheapest apartment on the lowest floors (as noted on booking.com and our website), so again, it’s likely if you open a window there will be people nearby. After you complained, we offered you a (free) upgrade to a Deluxe Studio & did everything we could to resolve your concerns, however you are complaining that you needed to unpack/repack? Please assist us to understand how we could have better served you in this instance. 4) You note our comprehensive instructions are “piss-poor”. An excerpt from the instructions in your apartment regarding the washing machine (with photos/images) is as follows: 1) Drawer on the left is for washing powder (which goes in the left section). 2) Choose washing program (1 is for extremely dirty, 9 is for delicate, for everyday washing we suggest 4) 2) Choose water temperature (for everyday washing choose we suggest 40 degrees) 3) Then press ”Start” button I would welcome your suggestions on how to make these instructions less “piss-poor”. 5) We apologise for the broken shower handle (which was fixed same-day), unfortunately these things happen occasionally. We have addressed the comments on the blinds to our cleaners. 6) The Arbat region is certainly one of the most popular, lively, and best-connected areas of central Moscow, which is why we locate our apartments here. 7) You paid EXACTLY (to the ruble) the amount that was in your booking.com confirmation, as do all our guests. If there is any discrepancy, I urge you to contact us immediately, otherwise this baseless accusation is an affront to our hard-working staff and reputation. Once again, I am disappointed you did not have a positive experience staying with us. I would suggest on future visits to Moscow that a 5-star hotel would be more to your liking, but unfortunately, for $165/night, this may be difficult to find in the centre of Moscow.

I have been staying at Moscow Suites for a year and a half now, and I have only the highest praise for their apartments and their fine service. They have two clusters of apartments, one on or around Tverskaya Street (the Fifth Avenue of Moscow and just a few minutes from the Kremlin) and another on Novy Arbat (also quite a short walk from the Kremlin and a very lively restaurant and shopping street near to the Old Arbat, a lovely pedestrian street with a great history). All of their places are in top shape: spotlessly clean (with a regular cleaning service), great kitchens fully equipped for cooking (great to avoid very high Moscow food prices for simple meals like breakfasts), and with the best beds, linens, couches, etc. Wifi is fast and free, the airport pickup (free) and dropoff services are a boon because Moscow is not a city to find your own way if you are new to it.

And Campbell and his team are warm and wonderful hosts-- knowledgeable about the city, very responsive to questions and special requests, and very quick to respond to the very rare needs of things such as a burnt-out lightbulb. The apartments have everything you could possibly need for either a short tourist stay or a longer business sojourn.

This is THE way to go in Moscow. Take my word for it!

The Moscow Suites team is extremely professional, quick to answer any requests, and very useful to provide recommendations and arrange extra services. They provide all the info you need to get situated in both Moscow and the apartment you stay in. They also arranged for a driver to pick us up from the train station free of charge. If you have any problems or additional needs they are very quick to respond and help you. We searched for many other apartments and hotels in Moscow and this was by far the best value for our money. The apartments are very reasonably priced. We stayed at their "Navy" apartment for 4 nights in Moscow. The apartment is excellent, very clean, brand new modern furniture, it has all the appliances you need (washer, toaster, oven, plates, etc.), and the location is great. It's in central Moscow close to two subway stations, supermarkets nearby, and near the main attractions Moscow has to offer. I highly recommend Moscow Suites, especially after experiencing poor service and poor quality apartments with other apartment rental services in Russia during our month long trip.

In September my husband, myself and our two adult daughters stayed at the Ivory Apartment in Moscow. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the apartment at no cost. When we arrived we were greeted by a representative from the company who took us up to the apartment to show us around the apartment. She was also happy to answer in perfect English the many questions we had about the do's and don'ts of visiting Moscow. The apartment was spacious well appointed and very comfortable to return to after enjoying the sights of Moscow. The location was perfect with a supermarket less than 5 min walk away,an ATM at the Grand Marriot Hotel 7 min walk from the apartment. Metro Mayakovskaya was also nearby. We were able to walk down ``Tverskaya Ulitsa Street to Red Square a 15 miuite walk. The Company also offered a booking service so before we arrived in Moscow they had booked the Cafe Pushkin for us and confirmed a cruise booking. We would highly recommend this apartment and the many sevices they offered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment,it made our stay in Moscow most enjoyable.

I come to Moscow 2-3 times a year for business. Before each trip i spend a lot of time and effort to search for the best hotel deals in Moscow, which is a very difficult mission in a city where a price for a decent hotel is insane and it will never guarantee you a decent service. I found Moscow suits through internet search and saw the great reviews on TripAdvisor. I decided to try. I have booked Apartment Gold and Hazel for 6 nights for me and my colleague. The experience was excellent from the minute we landed in Moscow. The driver was waiting for us in the airport even though we had a delay. When we arrived the apartment, Zlata, one of the girls in the Moscow suits staff, was welcoming us, showed us the apartments and gave us useful information for the city and the apartment's area. Apartments themselves were very well equiped and good modern design. We stayed in the 21st floor, we had great view. It is the best deal in Moscow considering what you get for a price which is cheaper than 3-4 starts hotel.

Having decided on staying at Moscow Suites for our recent 4-night visit to Moscow was an excellent decision! We arrived in from Germany and though it took some time to clear customs, the driver was waiting on-time with a sign that had our name on it. The drive in did take about 45 minutes or so and the driver didn't really speak English but was very nice. We were met by Ksenia who was fantastic! She took us up to our apartment (Gold) which was exactly as shown online. The space was very nice. A fully functional kitchen, separated bedroom, attached bathroom that had a small washing machine, and an amazing view! We were facing out to Novy Arbat Street which is one of the very busy streets in Moscow. I mention "busy" because it was fascinating to us to watch the traffic crawl, police go screaming by in the center lanes to the next accident, and tow trucks lined up like taxis to be awarded the next accident! We had never seen anything like it! But busy aside, we slept very well. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows and blanket should you need it. The building seemed quiet. Though we saw people every time we went out or came in, we never heard anyone. Location was perfect for us. About 15-20 minute walk to the Red Square/Kremlin area. About 15-20 minutes down another street to Cafe Pushkin (I suggest, though we had an interesting experience there). And if you do go to Cafe Pushkin, I suggest going to a pub or two on that street for a true Russian experience. Unfortunately for us, we didn't discover some of these places until our last night in Moscow. Had we checked it out sooner, we would have hung out in this area vs. Red Square (more touristy). Moscow transit system is very good if you dare to take a ride knowing zero Russian :) We did it and fortunately a local saw that we were a bit lost and offered to help. It was neat to see trains from the 20s/30s (guessing). Directly across the street from our Gold apartment was a Chilis which was nice for meal to remind us of home if we wanted it. We also went to a karaoke bar across the street and had the place to ourselves - very relaxing and comfortable and a WONDERFUL young girl that had an amazing voice! Very fun! We wish we had another few days in Moscow as we would have ventured out further on the trains (which were cheap) but we certainly made the most of our 4 days. Ksenia arranged a car for us because we had an early flight out which was nice - driver again right on-time. She even went above and beyond to help me out with scanning/emailing documents to me for a work related request. All in all, wonderful stay and will definitely stay at Moscow Suites again hopefully in the near future!
