Comfortable small hotel conveniently situated about 15 minutes walk from Red Square. Very friendly staff. We had a large room at the back but rooms overlooking the canal are probably available. Good breakfast. An excellent choice for tourists in Moscow.

I was staying here for a little under a week for work. The hotel is clean and neat and the rooms are large enough and well appointed. I had a room away from the road (not busy, but the traffic hurtles down it) and the canal but it suffered from some air con noises from the hotel and adjoining office...

We were 3 days in Kadashevskaya Hotel. It was very nice and clean hotel. Near to city attractions. Staffs are so friendly and helpful, they helped us to find our way to train station Moskovsky that we couldn't find it even on the map. Remarkable dining area and complete breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Kadashevskaya hotel for 3 nights. It was just 10 minute walk from the red square and about 15 minutes to the metro. The room was comfortable, well appointed and immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, ordering a taxi from the hotel to the white rabbit restaurant which only cost 200 rubes. It was my...

I had the emergency: had a wrong booking dates for the other hotel. I had to find some accommodation in the center immediately and came across Kadashevskaya Hotel. Pluses: 1. Good location in the center of Moscow, but still quiet street on the bank of Moscow river; 2. Nice view to Kremlin; 3. Close metro station Tretyakovskaya 5-7 min walk,...

The Kadashevskaya Hotel is a good hotel just across the river from the Red Square, St Basil’s Cathedral and just along the river from Gorky Park. Therefore it is right in the heart of the tourist area in Moscow. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, good wifi and plenty of hot water....

The Kadashevskaya is at a prime location in the center of Moscow, just 900 m from the Kremlin. We booked a suite and were initially a bit disappointed, because the room we were given was not as specified on Booking.com and what we had paid for. It was way smaller and faced a backyard. We complained and after two nights...

The hotel is nice, good service, good food, good area, but.... when we came to do check-in, not just that we weren't told we are charged in advance, I made sure twice that giving my card was for insurance only, I was promised it's just a policy of the hotel to have the card number.. I didn't sign anything &...

The hotel was in a great location - close to the Kremlin and Gorky park. The rooms were a great size and the beds were comfy, although the pillows were quite lumpy! The breakfast was ok - there was a good selection but the hot food was lukewarm rather than hot. The gym was good, with basic equipment and room...

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighborhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
