I stayed here to take part in a sports event in June 2022. Plaza V is well-located in the middle of Targu Mures and not far from the very photogenic castle. Hotel is modern, clean and air-conditioned. Decor in the room was unusual and not necessarily to everyone’s taste but the room was very comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities excellent. I ate twice in the restaurant where the food was good and fairly priced. The gym is compact but sufficiently equipped for cardio and basic strength and conditioning. I had a lot of help from the reception, and the hotel was good about letting me leave a bike with them during the day ahead of my departure. They also helped me with onward travel arrangements. The best included breakfast anywhere, possibly. I was there with TeamUSA for the Multisport World Championships. TeamFrance and Team Spain stayed there as well. Those who arrived earlier kept talking about how amazing the breakfast was and I had to agree, especially if you like meats and cheeses. The rooms were smaller than most in the US but very modern. It reminded me of A-Loft Hotels. It’s within steps of several sidewalk bistros and nice restaurants, along with a grocery market. It’s also a five minute walk from Tekeli Library, which houses a rare early copy of the US Declaration of Independence along with several other rare works. The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. The area itself felt very safe even when walking at night.

In centre of targa mures. Friendly ladies at the reception. Stylish rooms. Not very big but very comfortable except for the airconditioning which was not working and it was hot in the room. Breakfast basic but enough. They have parking in a field behind the hotel

Wonderful experience, the room, breakfast, staff, you name it. They even have a courtyard parking. Left two personal items by mistake in the room. One call and the next day the package was delivered!!

Located in the center of the city has easy acces to restaurants nearby and places to visit ( the Palace of culture, the little and big cathedral, the medieval fortress and so on). Due to the Covid measures some of the features advertised on the website are not available. A plus of the hotel is the parking spot, free of charge which you have on the backyard, access from the street nearby through a gate across the court law. The restaurant is closed but you can eat in the patio or in the room, the choise is up to the guest regarding the breakfast- 5 options available to choose. A big plus is the customer care service at the front desk, the employees were very helpful to make a vegetarian option of the breakfast. At the front desk also available coffee and tea. The rooms are different and you cand choose which one you want. Some of them have some issues with air conditioning but solved with a room changed.…

First stay at the “Plaza V” hotel and first trip to Targu Mures in general. The hotel is well positioned near fine restaurants and attractions. Rooms are clean and comfortable...well insulated from noise despite the proximity to the main boulevard. Full gym (open 24 hours) and spa top off this well equipped property. What really sets it apart: amazing service! A very professional and nice front desk staff and bellman made parking and check in easy. I also received fantastic advice about the local area and restaurants...in English and Romanian! I doubt there is a hotel in the local area with a staff as well trained as the Plaza V. When I return to Targu Mures, I can only imagine a return stay to this fantastic property!

These two hotels seem to be one, with the larger rooms marketed as 5 stars, but our standard (4 star) room was adequate in size. The location is perfect, within walking distances of many sights and restaurants. Not everyone will like the modern decor, as the contemporary art and chartreuse lighting in the hallway is not soothing. Our room was in excellent repair and was immaculate. The bathroom was spacious and featured high end fixtures. The breakfast buffet included in our rate was comprehensive. Free parking is included but not guaranteed—and was not available for either of the nights of our reservation. That isn’t a big problem on weekends when street parking is free, but could be a huge problem for guests with weeknight reservations. What’s not to like? The wedding reception that lasted for 8+ hours, extending to 11 PM, destroying the ambiance of the hotel and so loud that the lyrics of the music could be clearly heard in our fourth floor room. Clearly, this hotel values the revenue from their reception business over the ability of their paying guests to sleep. If you plan to use your hotel room to sleep, you may wish to look elsewhere. Additionally, the main elevator was out of service, and the other small elevator lurched disconcertingly at every stop. The noise insulation from the hallway was poor; we heard every word of a loud 3:30 AM conversation outside our doorway. The bed had a foam mattress without a box spring and the pillow seemed to be foam rubber, both disappointing at a hotel that claims 4/5 stars. This is a stylish hotel, superficially comfortable, but isn’t really about quality sleep for their guests.…
