#2 of 38 B&Bs / Inns in Gura Humorului
Born out of respect and admiration for Bucovina’s tradition, art and architecture, only 500 m away from downtown Gura Humorului, La Roata is like a miniature of a village museum: five cottages (Vasile, Anastasia, Elisabeta, Zenovia and Dumitru) from the beginning of the 19th century, brought and rebuilt wood by wood and piece by piece on the property, will take you, Dear Guest, on a journey in time, during childhood spent with your grandparents. Every object, every corner of the cottages tell a story, so they have been kept authentic in order for the Traveler to (re)live a piece of the life half a century ago. In terms of comfort, the cottages have central heating, a bathroom, TV, wi-fi connection. At La Roata one can also find 4 modern houses (16 double and twin rooms and 4 apartments). Each room has a bathroom, a mini-fridge, cable Tv, central heating. Within the complex, wi-fi connection, parking and bike rental are free. With us time passes differently! Come and experience that!

If you want to live a true Romanian experience and live in a traditional house you need to get here. The location offers 5 different traditional Romanian houses, but also modern rooms in 4 different other houses. The garden is perfect for walks and admiring the beautiful landscape. The people working here are very friendly and the breakfast is incredible good. Recommend it from my heart, can't wait to go back

Me and my parents have booked a nice 5-day vacation in Bucovina. At La Roata all fits like a glove. Beautiful wide yard, animals (kittens, doggies, chicken, ducks, bunnies and all you can think of), green, beautifully deocorated with taste and in the tradition and the spirit of the historical area. We stayed at one of the newly built houses, house Olga! Splendid. Since Dad barely walks, the accommodated us with an extra double room at the ground floor. The beautiful porch in the back of room 1 is my faourite, I could stay there for days. Needless to say, spotless clean, bed sheets perfect, bathrooms clean and brand new, hair dryer. Heat was put on properly since it gets cold even from September... Breakfast woww... Hard to put in words. All cooked by Mihaela and Raluca and Ramona (the managers) helping. All tasty, all fresh produce from the locals, all hard to keep from eating it!!! I for one, want to go back this year and just sit on the porch playing with the kittens. Oh, Wi-Fi good, TV good, although God knows they are utterly useless if you come here... It's a pity to sit online and be here! Good luck La Roata! Best place I have ever put up at. Love you La Roata!

We have booked our accommodation in Gura Humorului, based on what we have found on the internet. Thank god we have chosen this place. From the lovely breakfast, great service, gorgeous view, it was such a nice experience! You have two types of accomodation, which is great. Can choose from old traditional houses, or modern ones. Up to you of which experience you want to go for. They have even a gift shop, that means you don’t need to run out to find someting for you or your friends. The receptionist was grate, she told as everything that you need to know in area to have a nice stay. Thank you for your great hospitality!

Is the most beautiful place I ever been in Romania. Is a very clean place where the employees are ready and welcome to help you with anything. Is a place where you can charge only with good vibes. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. Moldavia from another time in a place of story. We stayed in Dumitru’s house. Definitely I strongly recommend this place.
