First of all, the owner is really nice and friendly. She sent a reminder email and made sure she was at the apartment to meet us. She gave information about the surrounding area and recommended a great place for dinner. The car parking is free in the premises and secure. The apartment is new, homely and very clean. Guests can use the coffee machine in the common area which is a nice touch. Coffee, tea and milk all provided for. Our apartment was facing the main road. However,we could not hear any noise from the traffic. Our room did not include breakfast so no comments here. Would stay here again!

I did not expect to find such a lovely, cosy accomodation when we decided to see Vila Boem. And what a nice surprize we had! Classy furniture, very clean, water, wine and coffee on the house... My 1y3m baby was really excited too, she was running up n down, happy to turn on the light, then close it... It felt even better than home :) The bed was so confortable!! Definitely a place to return to!

This is THE PLACE if you'd like to visit Bucovina.. Just in the middle of every possible attraction. Catalina is a great host, so sweet, attentinve and welcoming and will make you feel like at home. Villa Boem is brand new and perfectly furnished. On the ground floor you can rest in the living room sipping your tea and reading a book. Some room is equipped with a small kitchen so you can prepare your meal if you're planning to stay there for long time. more then 5 stars for them!

From the first time you enter this place you feel as if you were home! An extremely cosy place with a shared living room with a beautiful library and extremely comfortable armchairs where you can drink your cofee at your ease!The whole place is carefully designed with beautiful furnitures and materials.Our room was spacious , comfortable with all the amenities we needed.The bathroom was huge and beutifully decorated.The backyard was the best place to relax in the summer with private parking and easy access to the room.The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable and made our stay even more pleasant.

A lovely place, with a nice feeling of home. For the whole stay, it felt like a hug for the soul; vintage atmosphere, yet a touch of the present. I will come back anytime i get the chance. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and relaxing stay.

As with the other reviewers we found this place first class, room was perfect with kitchenette and bright lounge area. Rooms very clean and decor lovely. Car park is secure with electronic gates. First hotel in Romania where we could get black tea. Only fault we found was that the bed was really hard!

Our suite at Vila Boem overlooked a quiet street in Gura Humorului, but around the corner on the central street, Bulevardul Bucovina, there are services like restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and banks just steps away. The suite itself consisted of a dining/sitting room with sofa, dining table, refrigerator, and microwave, adjoining a separate very comfortable bedroom, and a roomy bathroom with tub and rain-head shower. The rooms are furnished in a warm and inviting country style. The entire house is filled with high-quality handmade furniture from a local workshop. The dining tables and headboards are of reclaimed wood. The building is a historic residence, built in the 1920s. The owners have renovated it to a high degree of design and comfort, and clearly maintain it with care. There is a common lounge area where we met other guests and were entertained every day with coffee and homemade treats by one of the owners, Catalina, and her staff, Monika and Mirela. There were special cakes, traditional drinks, and decorated eggs as well, because we were there during the Orthodox Easter celebrations. We appreciated the bottle of excellent wine in our room, the help with transport from Suceava to Gura Humorului, and especially the shared smiles and laughter during our ten-day stay. The hospitality we encountered was clearly genuine. Such kindness, care, and friendliness are not just business. We travel to Europe often, and have never encountered such generosity. If you have a car, there is a good, gated parking area. We were there to visit the painted monasteries of Bucovina, and Monika and Mirela found us a reliable, honest driver to take us to them – just one of the many ways they went out of their way to take care of us. We highly recommend Vila Boem and hope to return one day. …

I recently spent time at Vila Boem, a very good looking guesthouse and modern, taht gives you the best and confortable place to sleep in Gura Humorului. It is a calm and quiet place in which you relieve stress. After a few days spent there, I already felt refreshed and inspired.
