A very nice location where you can admire the city because the hotel are placed on the hill and give you the opportunity to see this beautiful city, is a real pleasure to take a coffee on your balcony in the morning or to enjoy a beer in the evening there. Very nice people there at the reception but also in the restaurant, rooms are clean and comfortable. Finally I can recommend it without any doubt, is a very good option... What is not so good is that very close is a very busy road and is a noisy area because of it.

The small boutique hotel is located close to the city center (10-15 minutes on foot), is very clean, the breakfast good enough and the handmade lemonade was one of the best I have ever drink! The personnel was very polite and ready to help you. I think that is a very good option for someone who would like to spend some days in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel, the room was quite small. We received a room with a view at the main road so it was pretty noisy. Also it was so hot in the room that couldn't sleep and trying to leave the window open was not a good solution because of the noise. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is great. For the room we received I would say it is a bit expensive, but all the prices in Cluj-Napoca are very high.

The staff were all very professional, friendly and polite. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent andthe breakfast was good. The wifi worked well. The first 4 star we stayed at in Romania that truly deserved their rating It is a 15 minute walk from the city centre on a slight hill.

We've stayed at Hotel Meridian a few times and we've tried the restaurant as well. For us it was the best experience compared to the other restaurant we tried in Cluj. The food was amazing, along with the presentation and the staff. The prices are decent, but If you're looking for large portions then that is not the place to go. Now, don't get me wrong, there is enough food on a plate but not 500 ml portion of soup for example as we've seen in other restaurants, which I personally think is stupid because whom can eat that and have another dish or even add dessert...? They don't have an endless list on the menu which tells me that all the food they serve is fresh. We've tried different things every time and we were never disappointed.

I was delighted by this hotel. I stayed for my last night in Roamnia pre-airport. Room and bathroom what you'd expect - but clean and comfortable. The joy was the restaurant, which provided a splendid meal for me when I was the only diner. A restaurant you would seek out rather than what you'd expect from a stopover hotel. Good breakfast too and exceptionally friendly service. Free parking and 14 minute walk to historic centre. Plus a photo of Jan Kodes visiting in 2014!

Stayed at Meridian for one night. Very clean and cozy hotel. Room decent size and nicely decorated. AC very quiet and pleasant. Food is really tasty, affordable prices. We were impressed with the staff. Everyone we interacted with from reception, restaurant to cleaning ladies were very courteous and helpful, showing genuine interest in the clients. The only inconvenient is the noise for the rooms fronting the main street. However windows are quite effective for sound proofing. Good choice for a short stay in Cluj!

The room was clean and big. The location was good also but in my opinion it was a bit expensive. The breakfast very poor for this hotel. We had a room next to the main road so it was noicy also. The stuff was nice and helpful, nothing bad to say about them. Oher then the high price, the noice and the poor breakfast I can't complain.

We booked on line after reading reviews from other patrons. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the old town. Free on site parking is available. The basic double room was well designed and roomy. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. The room had a safe and bar fridge. The shower had good water pressure and the room had an opening door to a tiny balcony. The only negative is no kettle to make tea or coffee. We ate in the restaurant on site. The food and service were excellent. Breakfast was also very good and you can order eggs as you like. This is a good hotel at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed one night at Meridian hotel and we enjoy it. Walking to Uniri square it takes 10min. The hotel has free parking in front of the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable beds and pillows and we had a big balcony. Breakfast was awesome, instant cooked eggs, the coffee was very good. The staff was friendly, the person from the breakfast asked several times if i need anything else. Overall the conditions are great, i really recommend it.
