The hotel does not have many rooms, and this is what motivated our choice to have a family hotel rather than a large chain. We had taken the accommodation alone for 2 weeks and were not in the room much since we visited the island a lot. Despite this, the hotel is very very good. A lobby where you can relax while having a drink from the pool bar, a ping pong table and a billiards table for those who wish. A beautiful swimming pool to relax with enough deckchairs to relax and paid parking if you wish but you can find parking spaces in the street of the hotel if necessary. The rooms are very well appointed and large enough. A kitchenette is present with everything you need to make meals if desired. The bedding is good and the balcony is very large with a view of the swimming pool. The staff is super nice, with a special mention to Marie Noëlle at the bar who is a cream and whose joie de vivre is more than infectious. The entire staff is always in a good mood. Upon departure, luggage storage and a room for changing and showering are available. The establishment is very well maintained and we will return there without a shadow of hesitation during a future stay on the magnificent intense island. Thank you to the whole team who made our stay most enjoyable. Bravo

Excellent value.
This hotel is not luxurious but it is a very decent 3 star.
The staff is very nice and the hotel is very clean. The cleaning teams, whether for the rooms or the exterior spaces, are always active. The linen is regularly changed and the paths cleaned of leaves that have fallen during the night.
The swimming pool is magnificent and the night lighting magnifies it.
The restaurant team is very friendly and all the staff deserve encouragement but I trust the manager to pass on the message to them (Bravo! 🤣)
It is true that this hotel could use a lick of paint here and there but I know that the work is in progress so no complaints...keep it up...
Thank you to the director for her kindness which is really sincere... We had a pleasant stay there

Pension on a human scale!!
Very spacious studio, quality and comfortable bedding, large and pretty bathroom. A beautiful terrace arranged by the pool.
The staff is extremely kind, exceptional availability... we feel good in this establishment!!
Breakfast good.
Snack possible at lunch, special mention for pokebowl 😉
Snack at night on weekends...
Pension is well located in a quiet location, 15 minutes from Hermitage centre and 25 minutes from St Gilles.
Many thanks to all for this week spent in Creoles, and we were very sensitive to the attentions during our birthdays 😊

We stipulated when booking at the agency and then at the hotel directly that it was for a honeymoon.

When we left, he could no longer find our deposit check because he did not have the right file in hand.

Very nice surprise that this hotel. On arrival, greeted by a smiling and efficient receptionist on the check-out. We're being taken to a room, which I've never seen before on a three-star. The whole setting of the hotel is very nice, with its typical and open architecture, vegetation and swimming pool (quite hot, even in winter). Close to the beach, you can really enjoy it, and you can reach the center of Saint-Gilles in about fifteen minutes on foot.

The rooms, large and with efficient air conditioning, deserve a little new and the installation of a card opening system that would be more convenient to go to the beach (as it is, it is better to leave your key at the reception on departure). For the price, they are nevertheless more than correct and I would have seen myself spend a few more days in this beautiful place.

We stayed in this hotel from 09/30 to 10/02. Very nice hotel with a welcoming lobby and beautiful swimming pool in the center of it, very well planted with trees.
Very good and plentiful breakfast, nothing is missing.
On the other hand regarding the room to complain. In fact, we had prepared our trip in December through a local travel agency.
We had our leaflet for this hotel before our departure. We were supposed to have a standard room instead we found ourselves in a studio under the roof, with a spiral staircase so I tell you not with terrible luggage. So I went and asked why we didn't have a room standard at reception and I was then told that there were no more rooms, I told them that my trip had not been planned for 2 months, I was also told that my agency had been notified so after information, she was never contacted for this change. And the day we left we were told that the rooms were all the same.
No I don't think so because the balcony is very small, in addition to the bathroom we don't think about the standards to get into the shower you had to climb a 30 cm step we measured and no handle to hold on to go down.
To have our car safe we paid for the parking space because near the hotel it was very complicated to park, however our vehicle was safe.
For a studio, there was a large desk but no table and 2 chairs for eating. We had to bring the not very large rattan table and 2 chairs from the balcony to eat.
To access the room you had to open a door where you immediately found yourself on the stairs, then to close this door you had to climb 2 steps, so not practical at all with luggage, I'll let you imagine. It's a shame that the travelers' requests were not met. are not respected and you are put in the closet.
So for this concern I am not convinced to recommend this hotel regarding the rooms.

I tried the relaxation day: warm welcome, cleanliness and calm around the swimming pool with the water at the right temperature, excellent lunch and comfortable deckchairs before leaving.
I will come back for 1 night. It's a shame that there is no dinner at the hotel: the surrounding area is expensive or it's pizza 🍕.

Charming hotel, very friendly, smiling and very helpful staff.
Delicious breakfast, we were able to discover the flavors of many fruits of the island. Spacious room with a view of the hotel’s beautiful swimming pool. No complaints. We will definitely come back!!!

I would like to congratulate the hotel staff, whether the receptionists, the catering staff and the Creole gentleman who distributes the room towels: you love your job, the smile is not forced and you are concerned about the good be customers. From now on we will only come to this hotel because we cannot find this service elsewhere on the island.
Thank you very much, very pleasant last minute stay!
Good luck to all

Hotel les creoles at l'hermitage, well placed for access to the lagoon but that's all. Not much around.
Otherwise, this hotel is nothing exceptional. Aging, poor maintenance, basic housekeeping.
Avoid rooms on the ground floor which lack peace and privacy (lots of traffic).
Point appreciated: the plate of fresh fruit on our arrival.

"Blocks 4, 5 and 6 are West facing, so you have a shady breakfast and lunch, but sun full on for the afternoon, and a good sunset. The others are more shaded all day - take your pick. We were in Building 4 which was excellent, but was dependent on our own sunshade for the mid afternoon period."
