Clean and affordable. Friendly concierge and good staff. WiFi was often in disorder, but fair when it worked. Stayed there two weeks for shopping and business, and would probably go back if on a budget.

I was able to stay at Casa Amigo during my time in Cebu last summer. It was my first home away from home, and it became the place I would return to after short stays in Bohol, Oslob, and northern islands. The service was quite good: I asked to change rooms after my first night due to the presence of...

Casa Amigo is a very good option for someone looking for basic accommodation in Cebu City at a decent price. The location is not the best (located on an out-of-the-way street), but is in easy reach of most locations in Cebu. About 15 minutes walk from Osemña Circle, 10 minutes cab or 20 minute walk to downtown, 15 minutes to...

Got into Cebu very late and a friend found this hotel for me. The cheap rooms are on the 4th floor with no elevator. The room itself had an old air conditioner, tv that didn't work a bed and not much else. Positive, bathroom did have hot water. Noise from the chicken coop next door made sleep almost impossible. Look...

It is a basic pensionne house typical of the Cebu/Mactan area. The street it is located is not so great but the hotel is very adequate for a short stay. I did meet some guest who live in the hotel year round and I did enjoy the room. The air conditioner worked very well and if you go to the...

We booked for 7 days at Casa Amigo after we read nice reviews from people ( we read the above reviews) and saw the photos taken well. But to our surprise when we got there, it was like stepping into a haunted house because the corridors were dark. To add more surprises, we got very small room for Executive room,...

I went there for one night only before catching my flight early in the morning. The room was very clean, and they also provide towels. It was a very good value for the price I paid. They even organized my taxi at 4.30am in the morning, so that I did not have to worry about it. Thanks !

My name is Bruce from the USA and I have been a resident in Casa Amigo for over three years and the accommodations and atmosphere are comfortable and friendly. Recently the new management team has sparked a increased level of professionalism, renovation, and a WIFI system for all rooms that should be in operation around July 1, '14. Meanwhile the...

“Ask for rooms not facing the street, otherwise the sound of traffic will keep you awake. Pay attention to bugs in the room (there are ants in all the hotels of Cebu, but some are rather dogged in the pursuit of something that only ants understand).”

“Standard and Deluxe rooms are nearly identical: Standard have no fridge and are one floor higher at a bit lower cost. Also, rooms to the back side of the hotel are much quieter and have better views.”

“Go for the executive suite, the rooms are much larger and much nicer.”
