We stayed one night in the Radison Blu in Cebu on the 16th floor. The room was spacious with strong AC and view of the port below. The bed was large but not comfortable and the room and overall hotel decor felt dated. The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We were blown away by the included breakfast-the options are extensive, very fresh and quite delicious with great service. We used the pool, which was nice and well cared for but also a little dated and right by the highway. The hotel is across the street from a large shopping mall, but kind of far from anything else tourists might want to explore. We walked the 25 minute walk to some of the Cebu historical sights. The hotel has a visible security team maintaining guest safety. Overall it was about what we expected and decent for the price.…

Spent two days there apr 21 to 22 2022. Stayed in the 19th flr, room 1926. It was a business class flr were all the rooms have a big desk (i hate it) because me and my family are in Cebu for vacation not business. T’was okay staying there but the one thing that turned me off was the cheap sofa in the room that smells! Even the throw pillows that go with it smells of mixture of dried sweat and mold! It’s just discusting!
Much to my surprise, the room is bigger than what I have expected. I was lucky to be so far off from the ground floor that I cannot hear the noise of traffic. My reservation includes a free breakfast buffet at Feria however, I slept through the morning. That tells you how much comfortable my sleep was at this hotel.
A good choice if you need to be city side in Cebu. Clean, all the amenities you need. Great value and delicious food. The only weird deficiency is no concierge parking which most 5 star hotels offer. This leads to a clumsy arrival process. Except that the hotel is fine.
Great Hotel experience. Spent 2night at the hotel from our pilgirimage to simala. Check in was quick with the staff being very approachable and sociable. The rooms were clean and spacious which accomodated a good nights sleep. The breakfast buffet was gpod but wished it had mpore options to chooae from. Gym was a healthy addition
The hotel is well situated and approximately 25 minutes from Mactan Airport depending on traffic. It should cost around 450php for a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Check in was efficient, if perfunctory. I had booked an executive suite and it's spacious. Depending on which side of the hotel you're room is, you will have a view to the front of the hotel and towards the port or overlooking the swimming pool. The executive lounge was closed but I believe it's due to open in May or June. Personally I found the bed uncomfortable and it was a little firm for my taste. I prefer a more plush mattress. Breakfast was excellent except for the porridge/oatmeal. Special mention to Hannah and Aileen (petite) in the restaurant who always provided a warm welcome and excellent service. Unfortunately dinner was a mixed affair. There is a buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. The first two nights we dined and it was fine. The last evening we dined and it was terrible. Food was cold and unappetizing. Similarly food in the lobby restaurant was also hit and miss. Sometimes warm, sometimes cold sometimes hot. SM City is situated next to the hotel and will cater to most of your shopping needs. Ayala & Rustans are about a 15 minutes away for a more upmarket experience. The ferry port for jumping off to Bohol and other destinations is also nearby. The hotel itself is a busy venue and popular for weddings and meetings but these don't intrude. The pool is open from 8am to 6pm and was never too busy. I had a body scrub and massage in the Spa. It was heavenly. I'm normally nervous about getting a massage as I suffer from low back issues however the lady who provided the service was excellent. On check out I asked for the member's 15% discount to be applied to the F&B charges and was asked to show my card notwithstanding that I had booked through the Radisson App. Furthermore I had asked for a later check out earlier and was granted an extra hour without being asked to produce my membership card. I wasn't asked how my stay was but was advised that I should show my card as I go along to ensure that the discount would be applied before check out and thus making the checkout process quicker. Would I stay again? Probably not.…
My first staycation after years of lockdown. Radisson is our second home in Cebu and my most recommended hotel to my friends. The family of my aunt and I has always stayed here since 2013 up to this day. Upon check-in unfortunately no one assisted us with our luggage, supposedly before when our lift arrives at the hotel a bellman will approach the car and opened the door for us but I do understand that we only have a few staff working because we are still in the pandemic. I am so grateful to the FOA who assisted us upon check-in, unfortunately, I forgot her name. The room is still the same and still instagramable. The breakfast buffet kinda disappoints us, few options than before. Actually, it was a superb stay-up to check-out not until I felt discriminated by the Concierge team. (1) We left our things for storage and I forgot something so I approached to a bellman and he said "adto duol sa naka puti sir kay naa pakoy gi assist" then went to the security staff outside and asked for assistance and he then said "adtoa lang ang naka violet sir" pointing to the bellman that I approached first and then I said "gipasa pasa nako ninyo" and after he asked our storage stab thingy. (2) at around 6pm we went back to the hotel just to chill before we depart, by 7pm something I then approached to the security inside the lobby standing near the exit door asking for assistance for our things but he just ignored us so I went outside to ask for assistance and saw a security and same process gave my stub and he went to the storage area and after a few minutes he went back to us and said "sir ari sa gud tan awon nato imo bag" and I was shocked because this is not how we do in the industry, especially when communicating to a "GUEST" but because we have a very very long patience me and my friend followed him to the storage and get some of our thing but what made me more shocked is that he said "maam kuhaon ta ning tag sa imo bag basin ma wala" but we didn't mind lang. I am really disappointed with the treatment, I am not sure also if they do this to other locals, maybe they are underestimating us because we are young and we speak bisaya all time? Not all the concierge team are rude except for some. (3) requested a 2 face towel and sanitary kit but they sent a 2 bath towel instead and a bathroom amenities though it's my fault that I said a sanitary kit instead of a vanity kit. Maybe it is about time for the management to check all the team members with the SOP of the property because honestly we felt discriminated. Again, it was a superb stay not until before we depart the property.…
Overall experience was superb. Hotel was very clean and spacious. Rooms are well kept and sheets are fresh. Request to extend pool operating hours until night time to further enjoy the amenity. Location was ideal because it is at the heart of the city
1. Key Cards did not work so we had to go back doen to have it fixed twice 2. The rib eye we ordered was medium rare when we ordered medium well and when we informed room service the server was not empathic at all. They just reheated the steak 3. House keeping did not fully restack the room. There were no pens or papers 4. Water from the bathroom tub when it goes to floor reached the walk in closet area. Drainage is not good 5. It was a 30 to 40 min wait to call the operator. Sometimes no answer at all 6. No one bothered to assist us with luggage upon check-out. My husband had to carry all 5 luggages down 7. On our room service order in the morning they suddenly wont charge it to the room so they asked for cash when my instructions during check in was everuthing to be settled upon check out. The orders the night before was charged to the room. 8. When we asked if we could request child friendly utensils at breakfast just told us to ask another waiter. Where is the "yes i can" attitude? Frankly he was kinda rude…
