There are many positive aspects to this hotel: clean, cheerful rooms, a cluttered homey feel, attached small garden, and espousal of every feel good initiative possible. Also warm, friendly staff. So what's the problem? Although it espouses causes, it is not guest oriented. No airconditioning in the lobby. We come from Mindanao and good greens are difficult to find. But...

This is a strange little place but in a nice way. The rooms are basic (photos are accurate) but perfectly clean and the water is lovely and hot if you let it run a little while. The security guards who are always at the door are super nice and helpful, as are reception team. I arrived at 2am and they...

Hotel was located close to the city proper wherein you could have easy access to transportation anytime. The hotel has that nice homey feeling. It has this vintage and ecological theme. By the lobby you would see the collection of old cameras, photos and other stuff the owner has. The rooms were spacious and they even this corner where you can...

This lovely superclean hostel 20 minutes taxi ride from the port is run by young staff with an ecological mindset. Simple food is beautifully and individually prepared just near an outside ecogarden with koi fish. Great internet. This staff really cares.

Perfect for our overnight stop in Cebu en route to Siargao Island as the rooms are clean and comfy, the cafe is good value and the garden is peaceful. There are lots of bars and restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk so it's easy to get around especially when you don't have much time. Staff are friendly and...

We stayed here for three nights and found the place to have a very unique atmosphere. WiFi was spotty and we had a problem with malware popping up while were using it. Loved the little garden in the back (although I would recommend bug repellent if you plan on spending extended time out there). The in-house food was great (with...

Place is modest, quiet near and convenient for restaurant , cafes , pharmacy etc. We respect the policy of no food & drinks allowed but they should offer at least thermos for tea or coffee inside the room especially for longer stay. Also their food takes hour to be prepared so order in advance. WiFi service is really bad ,surprisingly...

I stayed here one night with a friend, everything was immaculately clean and the staff are very helpful. Air-con & hot water were a nice surprise. There is a ping pong table and lots of interesting items on display in foyer much like "a mini museum" dating back from 1940's & a lovely garden. The 100% free wifi didn't work...

Stayed here for several nights to avoid dust stirred up by renovations at our house. Rooms are Spartan and no nonsense. Staff is friendly and courteous. This is an eco friendly permaculture inspired hotel and they don't hide that from guests. They have a nice "jungle garden" area, no aircon in the lobby and restaurant (in keeping with leaving a...

Upon the recommendation of a high school friend, we tried the Mayflower Pension for an overnight stay on June 2, 2016 en route to Dumaguete the following day. The accommodation and the hotel structure itself was mediocre, but that was perhaps in keeping with its lower rate, although for a few more pesos I know of other hotels in Cebu...
