For the price I expected basic services. My family stayed in a family room which was adequate. A plated breakfast was included in the price. Few toiletries were also included. However the location is really a plus. We walked to San Pedro Cathedral, Peoples Park, Pasalubong Center, Aldevinco, the night market and many restaurants. The receptionist gave advises on locations... More

In my recent stay in La Anclar i was quite pissed off because when I booked in the hotel, I have really asked them about their internet connection. When I arrived, the front desk canot give me the password because only the manager... More

The La Anclar offers cheap accommodation to solo backpackers like myself. I checked in via Travelbook.ph which cost me Php 710 (US$ 15.20) per night. The room was small but more than enough for backpackers. The upside: 1. Adequate room with clean working bathroom with toilet and hot shower working good. 2. Bed is very comfy. 3. Very stable and... One of those shop lot places. Good location and walking distance to San Pedro Cathedral. If you really want you can even walk all the way to People's Park. Nearby roads are a little dark so keep your wits about it. Generally most Davao roads are that way though. Wifi is bad from my room, but works fine the moment... More

The hotel is located at the downtown area which makes it really great. Known establishments/places within the vicinity are walking distance from the hotel. There are also fast food/convenience stores nearby. For the room, it's clean, comfortable and spacious. Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. I would stay here again.

The only reason that I kept coming back to this place is the location and it's friendly staff and that skinny security guard that is always willing to give you a hand,, but the moment I get inside the bathroom I remind myself not to comeback anymore ,, the bathroom is very disappointing, tissue paper holder if its not broken,,... Nice hometel to stay in Davao City...nice location, affordable rates and nice accomodation. There's a free breakfast for two. We had fun in staying in the hotel last summer. We have comfort because there's a lot of food chain besides the hotel, there are also stores and its very near to the People's Park and other commercial establishments.
