Many hotels have great infrastructure what make the difference is the staff that provides differentiating experience. Hotel Marriott, Resorts World, Manila stands out. My stay has been made exceptional by executive lounge staff, chef Richard (Chad) and chef Alejandro (John). I have many dietary restrictions and they took care of it. A big thank you!!
I work in customer service and hospitality I very fairly give the whole crew 7 stars. Lans and Aleah were amazing very helpful, smiling they made my breakfast so special I loved the fresh coconut water and the egg benedict was amazing
I would like to commend the following staff for making my advanced birthday staycation with my friends, extra special last May 7-8, 2022: Bettina from the Front Desk team. She was very friendly and patient since I was checking-in multiple rooms. Very professional! Ara, Ashley, John, Tin and Khaye from the Executive Lounge, who welcomed me and my friends at the lounge. I would like to give a special mention to Ara, who was very attentive in helping us with all our needs. She was super nice to my friend who was looking after her babies and offered to help her get some snacks/drinks straight to our table. We came in late for the cocktails but they offered some chicken rice dishes on an instant. Marnelie (hope I spelled her name correctly), the Executive lounge manager. I haven't seen her but I talked to her on the phone and she answered all my queries regarding our stay. No wonder why you have a great team! May, Ely, Tin and Terens (Not sure if I read the name correctly on the) for the Personalised Birthday card, banner and treats. Thank you so much and see you again soon!…
Arrival at a Las Vegas kind of exterior and huge driveways - was shuffled to the west wing (separate building). Room designs are nice, contemporary and stylish but designs are not friendly and practical. Plug points are hidden behind the chunky lamp at the middle bed side table, it is also far away from bed making it harder to reach. 2 of the USB ports were faulty - though reported to the lounge - it was never rectified until check out. The portruding feature wall on the bed head is a head bumper when you are standing removing plugs at the middle of the bed side table. Bed corners, need to get used to it - keep hitting my shin on the bed side due to the narrow proximity between the bed and the work desk. Housekeeping Replenishment of service terrible, daily affair to have to call for water to be replenished, toiletries to be replenished. Tea bags was never even replenished after the first day. Lounge - though Servers were friendly and obliging, they were not attentive. Though they emphasize a lot of "please call me if you need anything" - I would rather if things are anticipated, like coffee is served with tea spoon with milk and sugar, breakfast with napkins and cutleries. Cutleries and all are DIY - more like a canteen set up rather than a Executive lounge. Tables are empty and void of any set up. first I have come across for an Executive lounge. The offering of food is acceptable - variety is ok for short stays. Tried the buffet breakfast at the main wing at almost closing time, chaotic - with lots of hotel guests. - we sat at a wobbly table, makes you wonder if the staff even notices it during clearing or set up. - Noticed a peculiarity in the lounge and also the coffee house,soiled plates were never cleared despite our tables are already crowded with empty plates everwhere, had to ask on every occassions to just have this basic service. I asked for a small change at the Reception, the kind gentlemen went around looking for 3 places in the hotel but still couldn't get me any small change, exasperating for a hotel of this calibre - can't even get small change. Lovely hotel with grand reception and outlets, though cold and not If you arrive with Phillipines Airlines in terminal 2, ensure you have the hotel arrange transport for you, otherwise be ready to wait forever on a long taxi queue.…
The concierge Mico refused to deliver a microwave for safety purposes... never stay here. At least then you can eat hot food. Furthermore , they asked if I ordered the food from them I said yes but, still refused to deliver a microwave.
Kudos to the wonderful staff of Marriott Manila specially to EL team, Marnelli, Gelo, DJ and Elly. My husband celebrated his birthday over the weekend in Marrriot and you made it a very memorable one!!! Love the cake and the welcome gift. Thanks so much!
The staff was amazing and very polite and courteous! From check in to check out, everything went smoothly. During my 2 week stay, I primarily used the executive lounge for meals. However, I did eat at the cafe, steakhouse and great room to. The executive lounge manager and supervisor were very attentive to my needs. Special hat’s off to all the staff at the lounge! Overall, after dealing with COVID-19 for the past 2 years, and now finally being able to come back and stay at the Marriott while visiting family was perfect. Felt like I was at home during my visit and I can not wait to return and stay at the Marriott once again!
The Manila Marriott provides first class accommodations and, most of all, exceptional service. From the minute I checked in, every encounter with their friendly staff throughout my stay has been warm and welcoming. Whether I’m at one of the hotel restaurants, the gym, or passing cleaning staff in the hallway, the Manila Marriott’s professional team makes me feel like a special guest at all times. The executive lounge is one of the best of its kind providing very comfortable accommodations and an elite guest experience. Christine, John, and the executive lounge team are truly outstanding. When I return to Manila, I will be staying at the Manila Marriott. I highly recommend it.
On top of being close to the airport, the friendly staffs are always there to help you with pretty much anything. The moment I get out of my car, someone is already there ready to help me with my luggages, greeted me and made me feel so welcome. The receptionist is very professional and answered my questions and what I really loved about my experience is, we had a conversation during my check in process. She is very pleasant to talk to and even with a mask, I can tell she’s smiling because of her eyes. They accommodated my request to have my luggages sent to my room due to I have to run to my appointment and once I got back, belongings are there. I really love how my room temperature is set and the did I mentioned how my room smells likes? Their cleaning team is on point cleaning the room! Upon check out, I had a pleasure of talking to one of their bell man Francis ( I think that’s his name). He is very professional and friendly and I really enjoy his company while I wait for my car. I really like the idea of every staff in this Marriot that they tend to make you feel like you’re not just a guest but a friend/family. I would definitely stay here again in the future!…
