My wife & I did our Hotel Quarantine in Dusit for 6 days/ 5 nights. I must say the Reservation was handled smoothly, Car pick up was waiting for us as soon as we got onto the Arrival area. All the staff were very polite and welcoming. We were in our Suite within 10 minutes of entering the Hotel lobby. Guest relations manager, Room service, House keeping ensured we had no cause for complaint. My wife & i were very pleased. Thank you, Team Dusit Thani Manila. A special mention to Mr. Stanley Ho for his personal touch and doing such a great job of managing his team. We shall be back to patronize your Hotel and enjoy the restaurants as well.
“Through thick or thin… Tested in Time, DUSIT THANI MANILA - our ONLY preferred hotel choice… Our Home Away From Home!” Year 2018 when we began planning our 2-in-1 Celebration (20th Renewal of Vows / my 57th Birthday) at Dusit Thani Manila on December 26, 2021, who would have thought that a global Pandemic would arise and still persist. Nevertheless, this Pandemic did not stop us from going to the Philippines to celebrate our momentous event. THANK YOU DUSIT THANI BECAUSE NOT ONLY DID YOU MAKE OUR EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS (Dec. 26, 2021) BUT ALSO MADE OUR QUARANTINE STAY AND STAYCATION (December 9, 2021 to January 5, 2022) LIKE WE WERE IN THE COMFORT OF OUR OWN COUNTRY AND IN THE COMFORT OF OUR OWN HOME. While Dusit Thani Manila is not the newest among 5 star hotels, what we consider paramount is: (1) convenient location , (2) quality of service, (3) personalization of service which includes warm, caring, professional, welcoming , courteous staff, (4) cleanliness, (5) quality of food and (6) the consistency of providing an excellent experience to guests. This tandem worked hard cleaning our room daily, giving us fresh linens and towels and restocking our bathroom and coffee supplies. They were very kind, courteous and very personable. They were very nice and attentive and anticipated what we needed. MON FLORES, Registration/Reception Officer - Thank you Mon for quickly facilitating our RT-PCR swab test and follow up. You and Yen really took good care of us with our travel requirement. Your great assistance was really appreciated! Thank you also Mon for arranging our Dusit transportation and having CARLOS as our driver. Carlos was so kind and very helpful and we felt very safe with his presence. Thank you also to BETCHIE at the Front Desk for patiently helping us to book the rooms for our family and guests. CHEF GREGG GALANG, Executive Sous Chef - Food served at Dusit Thani in The Pantry and Banquet were exceptionally good! The food we had during our 2-in-1 Celebration was really enjoyed by everyone. All of us were more than satisfied with the quality, quantity, presentation and taste of the buffet menu we selected. And during our 29 day stay in the hotel, all the food we had was excellent . the staff are so accommodating and super friendly. They were able to show the extra mile in all that they do. They made us felt so special specially arlyn and rygi. And the food is great specially their thai food. definitely will go back again for staycation.
Dhane, the front office agent during check out, is very much attentive to my needs particularly in making our staycation be memorable. She made it sure that the give away for our children especially Male Elephant toy and board game were on our hand. I was not able to get the name of this Fil-Chinese looking man wearing a black suit at the bread and pastries area in The Pantry during our breakfast as he's very much particular that the ube macapuno bread that he will offer to me must be in best condition or presentation. He did not offer the damage one as I know its very soft. These people in the hospitality industry deserve a commendation particularly during the pandemic situation. Will definitely go back again and I'm excited to my next stay.
The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. I stayed there for my quarantine, which turned out to be my mini vacation, a hone away from home. I felt excited whenever someone brought me food. I enjoyed every dishes, from Filipino, Japanese and Thai and Western.😊 It was all delicious, specially the lechon. I also love the tea and their fresh fruit juice. The room was nice and had a good space. It was reasonably priced. The hotel is conveniently located few steps away from the shopping area and restaurant. I would love to visit Dusit Thani Makati again❤️
