I had lunch and a meeting at El Cielito's coffee shop that goes by the name Kaffenena. We ordered Filipino favorites -- pork sinigang, bangus belly sinigang, pansit, pork binagoongan and adobong pusit. All dishes were delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone hankering for good, home-cooked family favorites.

The hotel is an old and tired property, located adjacent to several seedy night clubs. The place seems to be frequented by Japanese guys who enjoy bringing back girls from these clubs. Further, the rooms are NOT as the are shown on the website - the deluxe double room I paid for was in fact two double beds, no balconey...

On my first day, they served the breakfast from a list of limited menu to choose whether it's Asian, Western, etc. and was not allowed to mix the food choices which gave me a very limited variety. On the second day, I was surprised by the buffet breakfast that was served and I found out from the staff that if...

During my 3-night stay, i experienced sprained of my right foot when we go to Greenbelt and at the Landmark. The Roomboy extended help by providing pail and ice as cold compress. There's a water dispenser along the corridor during our stay. Food served fit for Filipino taste since all participants came from different region all over the Philippines. The...

Staying at El Cielito Inn in Makati City PH is a mess. They have relatively small rooms and poor service. It's soo small -- small corridors, small rooms, small place to stay. Not recommended if you hate small places. I am sure you have other better options within the area. There are better hotels at cheaper prices nearby.
