Stay was good but disappointed on the check in and check out process. I waited 45 minutes to check in and was skip for another guest even though I was waiting ahead of that other guest. At check out, I also waited even though they asked me to fill out an express checkout form in the beginning.

Please read this. First, the check-in was really slow. They should’ve anticipated the crowed. It was so crowded, we didn’t even have anywhere to sit on. They don’t sanitize in between. It’s such a COVID risk. Our Christmas staycation was off to a sucky start. Then we were told they’re giving us a corner room, that it’s special. Well guess what? They knew that I had a 1 year old infant with me. She found 2 boxes of condoms, 1 open, 1 take-out gravy cover with dried gravy (she was actually licking it, gross), a mentos on the floor (super choking hazard), and a tiny pill that looks like for hypertension (again, this is something my baby could have swallowed too and I don’t know what would’ve been the effect if she had swallowed it). The manager apologized profusely. The first one, Angelo, offered a meal at Spectrum and a re-cleaning of the room. The second one offered us a different room and Christmas Day brunch at Mireio, but honestly, I don’t know what can compensate for risking my baby’s life, a refund? An upgrade? A free meal? A refund? An extension of our stay? Free stuff? A bottle of alcohol? A basket of fruits? My baby could’ve choked, gotten COVID, died or been poisoned. You judge… On top of this our room service meal was wrong, Long Bar reservations was messed up too, so was request for high chair, but I’m not really the type to complain so I’m not going to elaborate of those. I didn’t even want to complain. I just wanted to inform them of these issues. I was going to let the condom and gravy cover slide, but really, Mentos and foreign pills?????????? It’s a 5-star hotel! It’s a chain! They’re standards should be international!!!!! I honestly am still shaking at the fact that something could’ve happened to my baby, not because of COVID but because of the poor standard of a luxury hotel! All on Christmas Eve too!!

Traveling domestically these days remains a challenge. Different policies for different LGU and locations. A lot of requirements need to be processed. The reason I choose to stay in Fairmont - Raffles Makati is that the team really assists you, so you needn't worry that much. Very efficient communication, anticipation, and an eye for detail. The response is instantly and courteous. Once arrived at the property, the team takes you flowless through the process, and in no time you find yourself in your room, or enjoying your welcome drink. Very happy that as returning ALL Platinum member, the benefits are systematically, graciously granted. I was able to enjoy a delicious dinner, despite my tardy arrival. Really appreciated this! Great thanks to Mr. Schneider for the finishing touch, and to the team for creating yet again a memorable experience. See you soon!

The semi-buffet lunch was awesome. Pool was great, the steam room and jacuzzi are outstanding. Room was spacious and well-designed. My girlfriend was in-love with the bath tub =) Nice parking area. Proximity to Makati's malls and restaurants also helps. And probably, my most favorite part of the whole stay was the superb level of customer service we received from all the staff/personnel of the hotel. Will definitely stay at Fairmont again in the future.
