Travelers' Choice
The Peninsula Manila is within walking distance from two of the city’s premier shopping and entertainment destinations—Glorietta and Greenbelt—with a wide variety of the latest and finest in international and local fashion and designer chic, arts, music, film, cuisine, jewellery, and consumer electronics. The hotel is 3.8 kilometers from the new business, retail and entertainment hub – The Fort in Bonifacio Global City – 9 kilometers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The Peninsula Manila consists of two towers located at the corners of their namesake thoroughfares, Ayala and Makati Avenues. The hotel has a total of 351 rooms. Each of the guest rooms and suites, ballroom, meeting and events facilities and The Lobby reflect a global aesthetic with classic Filipino touches. Infused with “Timeless Filipino” accents like capiz shell embellishments, abaca fiber pillowcases and runners, each guest room is a luxurious sanctuary. For business travelers, there's the brand new, 90-seat The Gallery Club Lounge that overlooks the hotel’s iconic lobby and monumental “Sunburst” sculpture. It is a spacious, elegant, and private place enhanced with custom-designed tables and soft furnishings arranged in an intimate setting.

We stayed for three weeks and we had a very memorable experience. Clean facility and very competent staff. Maria from housekeeping is very efficient and very accommodating, same thing with Dennis from the reception. Always ready to assist in every way they can. We appreciate the smoking area provided by the hotel too. Looking forward to stay in this hotel again.

Hotel's Favorite
Another wonderful stay at the Peninsula Manila! We love: Breakfast is awesome Pool is great Carpet is super soft Lobby is epic - the single most romantic place to be for dinner of anywhere on earth (I have dined on 4 continents!) Room super clean and big thanks to our housekeeper Michaela who is wonderful, and did a perfect job of taking care of us and our room. Thanks also to the maintenance team who came instantly to put oil on squeaky bathroom door hinges. This hotel is iconic. My sister lived here for four months several years ago and five years after her visit she came back again and was greeted by name. It is hard to find a more beautiful, traditional, and memorable hotel than the Peninsula Manila.

The level of quality, customer service, and impeccable design is unmatched in this city. Service here is 10/10 everywhere... Gym, Spa, Pool, Room, Lobby, Restaurant... No matter how long you stay, you won't find anything to complain about. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here for two weeks! The service was impeccable throughout!

I called your Reservations Team to book a premier suite from September 10 to September 13 and as always, the gentleman who spoke to me was very kind and accommodating and even offered that as a stay of three days, a day will be free! When I told him of my name and saw it in your records, he was cheerfully welcoming us back and generously agreed for us to check in earlier and check out later! This is just the first part and it was already awesome! Our check-in at 8am (uhuh that early) was special - we were immediately ushered into the Gallery Club and offered breakfast while our suite was being given some final inspection. It was the first time I hoped the inspection would take longer as we were still enjoying our breakfast! Alas, our room was ready and we also wanted to catch some sleep before the day's activities and once again (it's becoming a habit) we were surprised with how big our room is! And I know that was not the premier suite, but something bigger and more luxurious! The next thing we knew, there was a surprise cake for my partner brought to our room by Vince who cheerfully greeted us, and to top it, a personalized note from Mr. Masahisa Oba! The awesomeness did not stop at the magnificent room but very well complemented by your ably talented staff and team! Housekeeping - We pride ourselves as a Filipino gay couple (that means we are very meticulous and conscious on how we keep our room tidy by ourselves) but Angela and Jayjay, who have been keeping our room fit for royalty (and for someone as OC as me, they're doing a far better job!) Angela was very quick in responding to my requests and Jayjay never failed to greet us and offer anything he may be able to help. Gym - as always, the gym is well equipped and helped us stay in shape amidst the caloric impact of good food! We very much welcome the opening of the thermal suite and your staff will know how much we used and enjoyed it! Mika was very helpful in scheduling our stay and for Lionel who showed bravery with finesse in making sure we are all safe and compliant. The Lobby - we never get tired of the offerings and service of The Lobby and even had our girlbestfriend join us for lunch and cocktails! One that stands out is the ever friendly Ms Winnie who instantly recognized us, and even made small talk about our latest visit during the Maarte Fair. Dustin and Nina were both very pleasant during our dinner and lunch. The Pool - I can't swim but my partner does but even if, we enjoyed the pool together. As Filipinos, we only have a 'limited' appetite for the sun and the afternoon lazy sunlight, partnered with delicious cocktails and good service from Jeff, Julius, Jesson make afternoon swim (or lounging by the pool) exceptional. The Manager on Duty Camille who, surprisingly gave me a call to inquire on how we have been and to check if there is anything The Pen can do more! We're not some wealthy businessmen but receiving a call from the duty manager made us feel so welcomed! And lastly, The Gallery Club! We missed Escolta and Spices and perhaps it can be blamed to The Gallery Club's more than enough servings of very good food and drinks from sunrise to sundown - literally! We munched our way into the 3rd floor and relished on the exclusivity of the place! Special mention is given to Camille, Jhun, Serge and Mikee who were very warm, pleasant and accommodating to our wishes (and oftentimes whims). To the nameless chefs who prepared food to our instructions. And to Chino who have started our staycation with her wonderful and quick assistance from check-in to our daily visits! But the medal perhaps goes to Eugene and Phoebe for always remembering that I am lactose intolerant! Phoebe never ceased to bring us tea and coffee and ensuring we were seated perfectly each time. Once, I was looking the breakfast options of cereals and fresh milk. I may have stared and pondered too long when Eugene approached me, asked if there is anything he could help me with and offered soy milk for my cereals! There were hundreds of guests and yet he remembered my allergy! That was hat's down the most awesome deed one could experience in a home away from home. Worth mentioning are the people behind PenChat (Justin, Ruth, Mika, Harlyn, Charlyn, Reuben, RJ) who tirelessly made sure I was talking to actual people and not to robots. And to all the people I was not able to mention in my letter but whose collective efforts made my partner's birthday celebration, and our stay, one for the books!

It was my second time visiting the Peninsula Manila. We booked 4 nights with breakfast. It is still a world-class hotel in the middle of the business district in Makati. The check-in went smoothly. Our spacious, clean and well-kept but outdated room has two comfortable beds, a huge bathroom with a bathtub and a shower room. In our room, to our surprise, they had prepared delicious pastries. Bathrobe and slippers are available. The rooms are very well soundproofed (you couldn't hear the noise from outside) and the WiFi was consistently good and fast. The TV selection was limited, which we found very unfortunate. For example, there were no English-language news channels like ABC or NBC. Also, newspapers had not been available during our stay. The hotel has a huge, excellent fitness center with a wide range of fitness equipment and a large, impressive swimming pool. There is also a pool bar. The highlight of our stay was the luxurious world-class breakfast, which included a wide variety of Asia/ Filipino and Western dishes. Additionally, you could order buko and vegetable juice. The selection of pastries (very good banana bread) was also excellent. From the hotel, you can reach all the shopping centers by foot. Many restaurants and supermarkets are located in the immediate vicinity. The MRT station is about 10 minutes walk away. We would definitely choose the hotel again and can definitely recommend it. Especially the outstanding service in the Peninsula and the certain ambience are simply exceptional. The hotel rooms would still need to be renovated, but they will gradually bring the rooms up to date.

Truly appreciate the receptionist and staff in Manila Pen who made our stay extraordinary. With 2 kids with us, all of us enjoyed and had relaxing stay. Special thanks to our room attendant "John Lou" who cleaned our room spotless. We will come back again.

Torn between a 3-4 star review. The hotel rooms are a good standard but dated as far as tech. Main lobby is very nice but heavily let down by the quality of food. Service with a smile for sure BUT really under par food offerings. Even the Asian restaurant was average !!! Sorry Peninsula but you got to raise your game.

I stayed here for four nights, and it was perfectly lovely. I had lounge access, which I highly recommend. The spread is way bigger than I've ever seen at any other hotel. There were two people that took particularly good care of me at the lounge. One was a very kind man named Eugene, but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the other. She was a younger female staff and told me she was a quarter Chinese. She mentioned she was reading the Henri Nouwen book that I was reading. I want to say her name was Julia? I'm just trying really hard to make sure this gets to her and her team haha. They were extremely helpful and kind to me. You can enjoy the club lounge cocktail hour in the lobby lounge too, which I highly recommend you try at least once. I really don't think there are many lobbies as stunning as this hotel's. Halo halo is legendary in the lobby. The pool is also beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. The rooms were a little outdated but perfectly fine and clean, and maybe the one part that I truly didn't like was how dirty the window was. But this was the first time I realized that sometimes the quality of a room has so little to do with the hotel experience. There was a true commitment to personalized service. People remembered me by my name, and even with small things, they go above and beyond to accommodate. They always greet you with the kindest smiles. The times I left various books on my desk in the room, I came back to a hotel bookmark. I couldn't praise the quality of the service at this hotel enough. I didn't want to leave! This will surely be my hotel of choice when I return to Manila. Thank you all, thank you so much for a memorable experience!

The Peninsula is in a great location, in the midst of commercial Makati and walking distance to the premier mall Greenbelt. Its an impressive hotel with a wonderful lobby and a very nice pool for relaxing. As with all Peninsula hotels the staff were incredible. Our room overlooked Ayala Gardens which was pleasant. We only stayed one night.
