We had the pleasure of spending most of a week at Wicher Garden B&B. Our room had a private entrance and was very comfortable, clean and charming. Gail and Gary are perfect hosts and treated us as friends. The breakfasts were also excellent and well prepared. We will be returning the next time we are in Auburn and I would encourage anyone traveling to the Auburn area to contact Gail and check out Wicher Garden B&B. Anyone may also contact me personally, Jeff at jeffgarth@aol.com.

Could not have been happier with our experience. Gail and her husband were the perfect hosts, and the breakfast was unbelievable. The property is quiet and serene, with lots of room to walk or just sit on the front porch.

If want a lake view, large place or be close to the Seneca or Cayuga wine trails this might not be your place. They are about 40 minutes from Geneva, surrounded by farmland and has 4 rooms. We got the Emerald room which was well Appointed in a Irish theme. Bed was comfortable and had by today's standards a small tv with fios. The owners are great and breakfast each morning was different and amazing. Will return if come back into area especially since they are dog friendly.

We love this place. We stayed here 10 years ago for the first time and loved it. Wanting a weekend away without a ton of driving, this was the place. It's immaculate and the breakfasts are delicious, even Gail acccommodating me with a special dietary issue. It's decorated lovely, but it feels comfortable and homey. Bed very comfortable. Auburn is a great little town with wonderful restaurants that are sourced from local farms. Loved the Prison City Brewery. Skaneateles is a great town as well with wonderful shops. There is so much to see in the area and Wicher Garden Inn is conveniently located but yet outside of town and not in the hustle and bustle. The grounds are also lovely with 8 acres to walk and a pond. There are also alot of brochures in livingroom for places to see along with a binder of menus from local eateries. Gary and Gail are great hosts and it will definitely not be that long before we come back again, hopefully next fall! You will love this place.

I can't believe it's been 10 years and you haven't changed a bit! It's so nice for us to see returning guests and a pleasure to catch up. I hope it also means we're doing something right!! Thanks so much Joyce for your kind words, it was lovely to see you both again and more importantly, glad you had a relaxing getaway as well.

This is a wonder B&B. the true spirit of the sharing of the home with guests. The porches are great to sit at night & eat & rest. The grounds with the wonderful hammock to just rest & read are fabulous. You are greeted with warmth from the minute you arrive. They have tons brochures for everything in the area. and can offer fantastic suggestions are everything to do & eat. We followed all their suggestions on eating & hiking & wineries & shopping . we really had a fantastic time The breakfast is huge and so delicious & home made. we were full for most of the day till dinner time. Unless we stopped by their recommended ice cream shop- where 2 scoops is pretty much almost a pint of ice cream. Huge servings and really delicious . and our room was so comfy. They thought of everything- from the blow dryer, to the close up mirror- to essentials like extra tooth brush & paste. The décor was amazing. She is such a wonderful artist. I loved the way she shared her drawing with us. it really felt like family . she is amazing - just an honor to be around such talent. they redid the entire house. every room more beautiful than the other . so well done , yet so warm & inviting. not fussy like a fancy interior decorator that you can't sit on the couches. But every room made you feel welcome. and the common space living room also had a fridge - water , snacks . not to mention a cooler for you to bring for food . They really just thought of everything . I would definitely recommenced this place and we are planning on visiting again. but my husband not go back to Mckenzie Phillips again. Instead go hiking to the waterfalls and visit the many wineries in the area. Go by everything they recommend and you won't go wrong. and we had a midway stop to pick up our son at camp. they recommended a halfway stopping point town. that was also really fun. it was a surprise the town actually had a country fair and tons antique store. They are just dead on with their reccomendations on what is really nice to do in the area . We are really hoping to visit again really soon. We truly enjoyed everything. and they have the most beautiful cats- we are animal lovers. it was fun because we missed our cats & felt like they were ours. very friendly animals.
