#2 of 96 hotels in Baguio
The Manor is not only distinguished by its impressive architecture and cozy interiors, but also blessed with an environment that truly sets it apart from other hotels in Baguio City. This four-storey structure, designed to blend neatly with towering pine trees, provides a magnificent view of the Cordillera mountain range. Here, one can literally open windows to cool, fresh air. For a distinct touch, a Baguio stone exterior finish, shingled roofing and tinted glass windows add warm accents to Camp John Hay Manor's cozy, relaxed and luxurious ambiance.

Very nice place, A place surrounded by the forest, which is perfect for family and couple. What I love the most is the peacefulness where you can relax, meditate and forget all the troubles in life. I really love the place coz you will enjoy walking and spending time with your loved one. This is a place worth coming back for. No doubt, and we will!

The morning we depart, already received a text message from their hotel representative giving me directions to the Kia Motors Building. No falling in line. We got a private escort to the triage facility in CJH. From there we felt the service and the start of a smooth stay. Loved the lobby , which was smaller than adjoining Forest Lodge , but lovely just the same. Old world elegance beckons , western style. The one bedroom suite is cool cabin heaven. Functional. Nice terrace with forest views. Fully stocked mini bar. A microwave. Coffee tea making kits. Late night room service. Cignal HD channels for my Tv. By the way 2 TV and 2 toilet is what I really want for us family. No aircon amenity is fine , there was a cool breeze anyway. The hotels Christmas themed garden is a tourist attraction in itself. The take away delicatessen from Le Chef is impressive enough. The breakfast buffet , not included in the room package , is worth the try. Delicious, extensive, sumptuous. It’s probably the best buffet for breakfast in Baguio, even better than Le Monet and the BCC . We had dinner there and yes , it was quite enjoyable as well . The bar has a nice role in me staying at the lobby . Loved the Edralins acoustic doing their stuff . The people is also their main asset. Polite, not that friendly because of the social distance issues. But the bell staff , security, parking officer, guest relations office, front desk staff , housekeeping, restaurant staff are all just wonderful. Even the health protocols office knows what they are doing, they are flexible. Each of them see to know how to cover their tracks. Thank you Manor. Till next time.

We checked in the day after New Year, the check in is chaos. Yet, our stay is perfect until we decided to extend, it was not coordinated to all departments. Someone called us for checkout even though we extended, one is waiting for us at the border and so on

In general, the hotel was great. The rooms were clean, the garden was beautiful, the restaurant and in the Piano Bar, there was always a band that entertains. However, I'm only giving it three stars because of the following. 1. Standard check-in time is 3PM, I was given the keys at around 3:05PM. The problem is that we arrived and checked in around 12 noon, we were the first ones to check in but unfortunately, our room was not prepared as early as I wished (expecting it to be ready by 2:30). That's okay, but there were some guests that were able to go to their rooms before us (and they were behind me when I was checking in). But I wasn't the only one, and one of the guests even asked "Is 6 PM the standard check-in time?"... 2. Heater... between 8AM to 10AM when people take their bath, the heather barely works. 3. Service - I understand that it's the holidays and there are a lot of guests, but your service TAT can be definitely improved. 4. SECURITY - NO ONE IS CHECKING THE GUESTS' BAGS. NO SCANNER AS WELL AND IT'S VERY EASY TO ENTER AND EXIT THE HOTEL. SECURITY IS 1/5. With the room rates of this hotel, I expect a seamless experience and excellent service. The hotel was really good, but as I said, they fell short of good service. I don't mind paying a lot as long as they offer excellent service, please try to improve on this.
