I had the distinct pleasure of staying the night at this hotel for business. I wanted to try the hotels near the Wright Park/ Botanical Garden for a change from the city hotels, I chanced upon the Safari Lodge since it was conveniently located on the main road, Leonard wood. And as I gazed in their front yard/garden, I can...

My friend and I decided to visit Baguio after several years and it was as exciting as the first time. We just booked a room in Safari Lodge on our way and no regrets. The location is peaceful near Teacher's Camp and we were given a new room which has 2 queen beds, big TV and nice bathroom. Our room...

Went there by accident (again) since all our favorite hotel near the city center were either booked or unavailable for 2 days stay. We went "hotel" hopping until we found this "haven". My kids went ga-ga over their dining place which are full of head trophies- African and Asian wildlife. We get their most expensive room which is the "Fireplace...

We wanted a place near Baguio Country Club that's why we chose to stay in this place. Safari lodge is easy to find since it's along the highway and a walking distance from the Botanical Garden. The place looks nice and it will really give you the vibe of an old lodging house filled with stuffed heads of different animals....

Called the front desk to report flooding in the bathroom. They said housekeeping wasn't available past 10pm. Called again in the morning but no one came up to attend to the problem. We immediately checked out and moved to a nicer (and even cheaper) hotel down the street.

Pros: Clean place; Accessibility; Good rates What prompted me to give a terrible rating was the customer service of their staff. Imagine a staff barging inside a room WITHOUT knocking on the door, telling my friends that another customer would like to check the room. What??? (Someone could be naked inside or doing something else-- wished though that could have...

When we was in Baguio, all hotels were full. We found Safari Lodge accidentally. We stayed here only one night in the largest room. The room size was really big advantage there. The room was clean, although room's equipments were old. At the outdoor was playing music player, the music was very nice, but we were very tired and we...

If you are an animal activist go somewhere else. I was told the owner was a big game hunter in Africa in the 1950's and the dining area/great room is filled with animal heads and stuffed cats. I have a "when in Rome" approach to traveling and didn't let that stop me. What I enjoyed... A fire outside in the...

The place can be just right for older folks who fancy antiquities. Younger kids might find the place a little creepy because of warm lighting in the night. People who want to tuck in early, this is for you, because at 10:00 pm, kitchen and front desk closes. Again, kids would wish to stay up until midnight by the fireplace....

It is conveniently located just across the Botanical Gardens! Has affordable rooms, a restaurant, parking space and more importantly PETS ARE ALLOWED but with additional fee per day. the place is really cozy and has that country lodge feel. It really makes you feel like you're in Baguio City. It's quite uphill so there's a beautiful view outside. Pine Trees...
