very clean, huge rooms, within historic center of town. Few blocks from main square, tour companies and main street (Pizarro). relatively quiet at night except Fri/sat nights. Reasonable good breakfast included. They call it continental but has eggs, tamales, sausages, etc. service of the rooms was prompt and nice. Good tv, bathroom, etc.

You can't expect a 3 star hotel to be a 5 star hotel. The breakfast, however, was 1-star. The hotel needed to be cleaned more often; it was dirty in the corners. And the three rooms for our family were originally on three different floors which showed poor organization. However, the staff in themselves were nice and helpful and did...

The hotel is difficult to judge, or perhaps Im struggling with the review because it has good things and things that are not so good. Lets see....we stayed here in part because we believed it was close to the Plaza de Armas and in a way it is but in other ways it isnt. I read on here its 4...

The public areas of this hotel are in a gorgeous colonial style; magestic courtyard, tinkling fountain, luxurious carved wooden panels and so forth. The rooms, however, were a big disappointment especially after the expectation set by the reception and lobby. The rooms leave a bit to be desired because they needed serious updating. We could have dealt with that, after all...

Great place to stay, calm and quiet. Good breakfast and service. No complains. I definitely would stay again. We were a group of 4, and they arranged our tours for the next day even if we arrived really late.

This hotel was located in the central part of the city only 4 blocks from the Plaza de Armas and many museums. All along the way to the plaza are great little shops and cafe's with great food and coffee. The staff is friendly and even speak a little English. One drawback, the showers are very low so if you...

This hotel was in a central location in Trujillo. Staff was very nice and spoke excellent English. There were able to get us an extra room at check in at a great price. Room was clean and a good size. I would stay here again. Hotel is near El Mochica restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch.

We had two rooms for the five of us. My three young boys (raised in the states) were comfortable, but my wife (from peru) was not. The hotel was in a nice location but the rooms need updating/cleaning. The staff was nice...but the restaurant was terrible.
