Only stayed one night and arrived Saturday afternoon off the bus from Cusco to find it was carnival, we were very lucky having a balcony room overlooking the square, fantastic views of carnival dancers and Sunday morning a military parade in the square brilliant. Good double glazing shuts out room noise comfortable clean room. Very friendly young lady on reception. Breakfast was good Peruvian style. Only criticism we had evening meal in hotel and the Chef was taking orders cooking and serving food was very good but when there was four full tables we gave up on second drinks and postre as he was too busy to take order. Get a waitress or maybe it was a one off.

Lovely hotel in the main square
Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice. There is a restaurant on site, I did not eat there but the food looked good. I was ill one day, suffering with Acute Mountain Sickness and reception called to see if I wanted any breakfast, they then delivered me a banana which was good of them. My room overlooked the main square with a balcony opening out onto a view of the cathedral. The main square felt quite noisy at night with a band playing but I was going to bed early due to not feeling well. The hotel arranged a taxi to collect me from the bus station and then to drop me off at Juliaca airport at the end of my time there. The prices seemed steep compared to the rest of Peru, so I am unsure if that was as I booked it through the hotel or if the prices in this region were more money.
Nice, clean and comfortable hotel that I would book again if I return.

Very nice hotel. Good reception and helpful staff. Free parking available. Excellent breakfast. Large and comfortable room. We had requested a room not facing the square because we are sensitive to noise and therefore very quiet but without a view. This was our efficient Wifi choice. Hot water with pressure, heating. We spent 2 beautiful nights. I recommend.

The hotel has a great location in the center, right on the pedestrian zone and only 1.7 km from Lake Titicaca. The room, which had no natural light (!!!), was unsatisfactory! A small window led to a small, lightless shaft that amplified the noise to the other floors. The electric lighting was extremely dim - all in all, not a place to linger. The breakfast buffet was OK, provided the coffee was hot. On the first day, however, it was lukewarm at best when the breakfast room opened in the morning.

I don’t often leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but this hotel was disappointing. First, I will say it has a good location and helpful staff. However, our two rooms had NO natural light. There was a window to an air shaft that had been tinted yellow. The lighting in the room was weak as well. We probably should have opted for a deluxe room. Every other hotel we enjoyed in Peru offered complimentary bottles of water, except this one, so it was surprising. The breakfast was mediocre. The dinner at the hotel was better. They did provide 5 minutes of complimentary oxygen, which was nice because Puno is over 12,000 feet. The hotel was clean. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it wasn’t awful.

We loved this hotel. Very clean and well managed, and the room was very nice. The location was perfect...our room looked out on the Plaza, and the window opened to a small balcony. Other rooms may not have such a great view...we were very lucky. Many restaurants and shops nearby with many food options. The breakfast buffet was very good. There was road construction while we were there, so we had to meet taxis and tours just outside of the Plaza, but all drivers handled it well.

Great location, staff helpful, giving restaurant recommendations and sorting taxis for us. Rooms very dated. Our window had a gap in it and there was an event in the square which was extremely loud- luckily it didn’t go on too late.
Rooms quite odd, our shower had a shower seat and a random contraption in it! Rooms very hot and either side of the door had a frosted glass panel which the light from the atrium shone into meaning the room was very light.
Breakfast was ok but as others have said, it wasn’t replenished regularly and some things weren’t warm.
I would prob give this a 3.5 but can’t so based on other hotels we’ve stayed at it’s a 3 based on hood location and staff but dated rooms and not great breakfast.

Not recommended. There are periodic noises from the technical room 24/7. Loudly audible near the elevator but also in rooms further away. After one night we changed rooms and in the new room the heating (turned on from 5 p.m.) was not adjustable and it was as hot as a sauna. The rooms were also quite small and the pillows were too high. So I can't agree with the positive reviews. We were staying right on the Plaza de Armas and there is a second hotel in the same chain. Maybe that's better.

Super well located hotel in the main square of the city with restaurant, shops and travel agendas next door.

Very spacious room, comfortable bed, hot shower and I who was working home office loved that there was a little corner for work.

Only the wi-fi that was quite slow, but it was worth it.

very central hotel being in the main square, we also had a balcony overlooking the cathedral...despite being in the center the hotel is quiet. unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of breakfast as we had to leave before 6am. In the hall there is also a hot drinks machine although in my opinion it is expensive. However hot tea is always available
