The views at Titilaka are amazing. It seemed that there was no spot at the hotel that did not have a spectacular view of the lake. The setting was so nice and peaceful it was hard to leave the hotel for the excursions. But the excursions were worth doing. We especially enjoyed the trip to the Uros floating islands and... More

Spent 3 nights at Titilaka after visiting Machu Picchu. Wonderful hotel in the middle of nowhere. It is THE place to stay on the lake. It's about a 45 minute drive from the train in Puno or 90 minutes from the airport in Juliaca. The hotel picks you up and drops you off at either the airport or train station... More

You pay for what you get and I agree wholeheartedly with what everyone else has said. I will add some further views. I was slightly sceptical about visiting Uros/Taquille because everyone who comes to Puno does just that. However, our boat had 3 couples with upstairs seating (like jackets, blankets and drinks provided). When we landed at the Uros island... More

I didn't care to go to Lake Titicaca having heard it was a touristy rip-off and that the town of Puno was chaotic and uninteresting. My daughter, however, really wanted to go to the Uros Islands. This hotel appealed because I would at least be comfortable. Well, the hotel goes well beyond that. I agree - it deserves six stars... More

This was a superb place for our final stop in our tour of Peru. We arrived quite late on in the day after a trip on the Andean Explorer and were met by the hotel staff. They were great, even taking the time to check on our oxygen levels as we went on the journey to the hotel. We arrived... More

What an amazing hotel! The most stunning setting right on the edge of the lake, we had a corner room with fantastic lake views. Great locally sourced food in a beautiful dining room - just an all around great experience

The hotel is in a wonderful location, with lovely rooms either facing East (dawn) or West (dusk). Food is examplary, and the excursions take you to a more untouched part of the Lake Titicaca region. You never feel like you are in the midst of hoards of tourists. Top of the list of excursions is to the floating islands of... More

I have been working with Puno for more than 8 years, it has changed a lot, but I never imagined there could be a Hotel like Titilaka, in the area. The service is superb, the food is incredible and the place really makes you want to stay forever. You have a chance to spend time in the lake and feel... More

We recently had a wonderful family vacation in Peru, and this hotel was the absolute best of the 6 luxury hotels we stayed in. Everything is there, the excursion to the Uros tribe on their floating island was incredible, and the service from the staff was incredibly attentive but never intrusive. The other guests were very multi national and interesting,... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Infinite skies, snowcapped peaks and limitless shimmering waters will be your companions at this luxury lodge on a remote, private peninsula on the shores of Lake Titicaca. All 18 rooms look out on to the mystical Andean lake, birthplace of the fabled Inca Empire and still home to some of Peru’s farthest-flung communities, many of whom benefit from our operations. Responsible, sustainable development is at the heart of Titilaka’s philosophy; more than 90% of staff are locals and we source food locally as much as possible, while our business model focuses on conserving Andean traditions. Sunsets and the star-speckled night sky here are once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Daytime activities range from exploring Inca and pre-Inca ruins, to visiting the floating reed islands of the Uros people, to leisurely hiking or biking through stunning Andean scenery. The lodge has a sophisticated modern touch and, with its sensational Peruvian cuisine, is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. ... more   less
