We are an American couple traveling through Perú. Puno was our first stop and this was our first hotel. Normally, we live at sea level, and our first day in Puno we had bad altitude sickness. We were able to book an additional night in the hotel without any problems, with the same discount rate we received on Booking.com. The...

Not only prime location (one block away from the main square), good infra-structure (a bit narrow room but with all one wants and needs, including a bottle of water a day), pleasant breakfast (fresh juices and local treats) make a good hotel: this one is excellent due to the unconditional friendliness and attentiveness of their staff, always with a smile...

This is a great location, one block from main square and one from a major pedestrian street. Showed up late, staff got us on a boat to the island. And a one boat group that went out out to floating island and the real island. They also organized a taxi to airport very early, and let us eat the excellent...

We arrived late evening & the friendly staff quickly helped us book an excellent Lake Titicaca tour for the following day, the room was clean, spacious & had a huge comfortable bed. The hotel is well located to the centre of the city & has a couple of good restaurants nearby, we didn't have a problem with street noise if...

Location was very close to the central plaza and shopping. Located on a pedestrian street helped with the traffic noise but did not alleviate the "bar" party noise on a weekend night. Beds were very comfortable and shower was nice and hot. The staff in reception was knowledgeable and spoke very good English. Oxygen is available upon request. TV options...

We had driven all day from Cusco so were tired and hungry when we arrived in Puno. I had read good reviews of this hotel and was hoping they were correct. It was a very pleasant surprise to be shown to our room which was a suite and see how nice it was. The hotel is in the heart of...

Centrally located in Puno, right near the main tourist street. Very efficient and welcoming front desk people - they will advise where it's safe to walk even down to times of the day. Really appreciated their input and suggestions! Rooms are lovely, their king bed is huge and any small maintenance items are swiftly taken care off. The included breakfast...

I stayed at 4 different Tierra Viva hotels during 2 weeks in Peru and experienced consistent high standards. However in Puno I did experience some noise issues although these were outside of the control of the hotel. As always the staff were really nice and friendly and spoke good English. They helped arrange an afternoon trip to Sillustani (not really...

We stayed Tierra Viva chain our whole trip. Puno was as amazing as the others. Close to the plaza, go out hotel and turn left you will walk into the main street with great places to eat and shop. We had the superior room and the bed is one of the largest and most comfortable I have ever slept in....
