Stayed for 2 nights over 3 days as part of an Intrepid tour. Room on the 2nd floor was really comfortable. Arrived after a long bus ride, no hot water. First night was on a saturday with a disco that felt like it was in our room banging on till the early hours. Then someone decieded to rearrange the furniture...

We were met by desk clerk in suit and tie. A bellhop was standing by and followed us to room even though we told him we didn't need him. Not enough bathroom tissue in room and had to ask for more. The second night they only left us one towel for two people to take showers with. Had to ask...

The theme is colonial but they at least need to do some updating of their paints and policies. The hotel is centrally located, the reception area acceptable but you can feel how old the place is and seem quite gloomy. We occupied the room on the 2F which was a corner room. You could hear squeaking sound in some areas...

The hotel is close to the plaza where one can enjoy good shopping and satisfactory meals. The rooms need to be brighter, the carpet has to go. There is an unpleasant smell that welcomes guests entering the rooms the first time and it may be the carpet. It may take a fresh coat of paint and lighter colored curtains and...

Needs attention. We had in interior room, with no natural light. Entire hotel was dark, very low lighting. Had a feel of having been abandoned for awhile. Beds had 3 heavy wool blankets plus a comforter, Blankets were too heavy to sleep under, had to break apart the bed. We were here in January, so was not cold. I did...

We stayed at Casona colon Inn which is very close to the Plaza and shopping districts in Puno. The room heater in quite inadequate for chilly nights but the hotel did provide multiple blankets to bundle up.The room is not bad considering the rent but the bath particularly the washbasin could have been bigger. Breakfast is complimentary and is just...

Went to the restaurant to have lunch. The belgian "carbonnades" had no taste at all. the french fries (or should I say "belgian fries") were excellent though, not like the oily half baked potatoes they usually serve in Peru. I had a great Belgian Beer: Duvel. A bit expensive (25 Soles) but worth the price. Service was just regular. The...

We stayed here as part of a group with two nights over three days. Stayed on the first floor as my wife was not well when we arrived. Room was comfortable and clean. Had the best sleep of our trip on the first night. Heater in the room but only needed to take the edge off at this time of...

Got to the check-in desk relatively late right before a big group, so the receptionist asked us if he can bring our passports to the room later after he is done with the group. As we didn't want to leave our passports out of our sight, we politely refused and explained that we will be happy to wait. He then...

We really enjoyed this hotel - we had a nice room with a fairly small bathroom. The beds were very comfortable with thick down dubets and the sheets and towels were of good quality. I have read reviews about problems with the hot water - we had no problems at all with the hot water - we had showers at...
